Walide Khyar (born 9 June 1995) is a French judoka. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 60 kg event, in which he was eliminated in the second round by Felipe Kitadai. [1] [2]
In 2021, he won the silver medal in his event at the 2021 Judo Grand Slam Antalya held in Antalya, Turkey. [3]
Kyar was born in Bondy, in the Seine-Saint-Denis department. He is of Moroccan descent. [4]
Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard is a Canadian judoka who competes in the women's 63 kg category. Beauchemin-Pinard won a bronze medal in the 63 kg weight class at the 2020 Summer Olympics, making her the second Canadian woman to win a medal in judo at the Summer Olympics. She has been ranked in the top 10 of the world in her weight category.
Shira Rishony is an Israeli Olympic lightweight judoka. She competes at –48 kg. She competed for Israel at the 2016 Summer Olympics. At the 2020 Summer Olympics she won a bronze medal in the mixed team event, and placed 5th in the women's 48 kg event. She won a bronze medal at the 2022 European Championships. Odette Giuffrida is an Italian judoka. She won the gold medal in the women's 52 kg event at the 2024 World Judo Championships held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She competed at the 2023 World Judo Championships, where she placed third in the women's 52 kg.
Aleksandar Kukolj is a Serbian judoka. He won gold medals at the 2016 Abu Dhabi Grand Slam and the 2016 Tokyo Grand Slam. Kukolj started with bronze in the 2016 Havana Grand Prix and silvers at the 2014 Zagreb Grand Prix, 2015 Samsun Grand Prix and 2016 Baku Grand Slam. Kukolj won World Cups in Lisbon in 2012 and won the Panam Open in San Salvador in 2014 and the 2013 Mediterranean Games. He won European medals as Junior and U23. Kukolj competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the men's 90 kg.
Simon Yacoub is a Palestinian judoka. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 60 kg event, in which he was eliminated in the first round by Walide Khyar.
Baruch Shmailov is an Israeli Olympic judoka. He competes in the under 66 kg weight category, and won a gold medal in the 2022 World Masters in Jerusalem. Shmailov also won a bronze in the 2017 World Masters, as well as a silvers at the 2018 World Masters and the 2021 World Masters.

Butbul represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in judo in the men's 73 kg event in which he came in ninth, and in the mixed team event, in which Team Israel came in ninth.
Timna Nelson-Levy is an Israeli Olympic judoka. She competes in the under 57 kg weight category and represented Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal in the mixed team event. In European Championships, she won a gold medal in 2022 and bronze in 2016 and 2024. Nelson-Levy represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics in judo in the women's 57 kg, coming in ninth, and in the mixed team event, at when Team Israel came in ninth.
Andy Granda is a Cuban judoka. He won the gold medal in the men's +100 kg event at the 2022 World Judo Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He is a two-time gold medalist in the men's +100 kg event at the Pan American Games.
