The European Cadet Judo Championships are annual judo competitions organized by the European Judo Union for European judoka aged 18 and younger.

Contents

The last contest took place in Coimbra, Portugal. [1] [2] The next will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria. [3]

Tal Flicker is an Israeli judoka. He competes in the under 66 kg weight category, and won bronze medals in the 2017 World Judo Championships and the 2018 European Judo Championships as well as a silver medal in the 2020 European Judo Championships. Flicker won the 2017 Baku Grand Slam, 2017 Cancún Grand Prix and Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. In August 2017 he was ranked # 1 in the world in the U66 kg division.

Timna Nelson-Levy is an Israeli judoka. She competes in the under 57 kg weight category, and won a bronze medal in the 2016 European Judo Championships. She competed for Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Gefen Primo is an Israeli judoka. She competes in the under 52 kg weight category, and won bronze medals in the 2021 World Judo Championships, 2018 European Judo Championships and 2021 European Judo Championships.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Peter Paltchik</span> Israeli judoka (1992-)

Peter Paltchik is a Ukrainian-born Israeli judoka, competing in the under 100 kg weight category, of which he is the current number 1 ranked Judoka in the world. In September 2019 he won the Israeli championship in the 100+ Kg category. Paltchik won the gold medal at the 2020 European Judo Championships in Prague on November 21, 2020, beating Russian judoka Arman Adamian in the final, Adding to his bronze medal from the 2018 European Judo Championships in Tel Aviv. Paltchik also won a bronze medal in the mixed team judo competition in the 2021 Olympics.

Li Kochman is an Israeli judoka. He competes in the under 90 kg weight category, and won a silver medal in the 2019 European Judo Championships.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Inbar Lanir</span> Israeli judoka

Inbar Lanir is an Israeli Olympic judoka and 2023 world champion. She competes in the under 78 kg weight category, and won gold medals at the 2023 World Masters and 2023 Ulaanbaatar Grand Slam.

The Israel national judo team consists of the men's team coached by Olympic medalist Oren Smadja and the women's team coached by Shany Hershko(he).

Gili Sharir is an Israeli judoka. She is the 2018 Hohhot Grand Prix silver medallist in the ‍–‍63 kg weight class.

The World Judo Juniors Championships are the highest level of international judo competition for juniors, 21 years of age or less. The championships are held once every year by the International Judo Federation, and qualified judoka compete in their respective categories as representatives of their home countries. The World Junior Championships are the only junior event awarding ranking points for the seniors world ranking list. The last edition of the championships took place in Odivelas, Portugal in 2023.

The European Junior Judo Championships are annual judo competitions organized by the European Judo Union for European judoka aged 21 and younger.

The World Judo Cadets Championships are the highest level of international judo competition for juniors, 18 years of age or less. The championships are held every second year by the International Judo Federation, and qualified judoka compete in their respective categories as representatives of their countries. The last edition of the championships took place in Zagreb, Croatia in 2023.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2021 European Cadet Judo Championships</span>

The 2021 European Cadet Judo Championships was an edition of the European U18 Judo Championships, organised by the European Judo Union. It was held in the Arena Riga in Riga, Latvia from 17–19 August 2021.

The 2021 European Junior Judo Championships was an edition of the European U21 Judo Championships, organised by the European Judo Union. It was held in d'Coque in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg from 9–12 September 2021. The final day of competition featured a mixed team event, won by team France.

The Judo World Masters is an annual invite-only judo competition. After being open for only the top 16 ranked judoka in each weight class for its first eight installments, the tournament was expended to host the top 36 of each weight class in 2019. The world masters is the only world tour event with no limitation on the number of judoka competing from any single national association.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2017 European Cadet Judo Championships</span> Judo competition

The 2017 European Cadet Judo Championships is an edition of the European Cadet Judo Championships, organised by the International Judo Federation. It was held in Kaunas, Lithuania from 30 June to 2 July 2017. The final day of competition featured team events, with team Georgia winning the men's event and team Germany the women's.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2019 European Cadet Judo Championships</span> Judo competition

The 2019 European Cadet Judo Championships is an edition of the European Cadet Judo Championships, organised by the International Judo Federation. It was held at the Arena COS Torwar in Warsaw, Poland from 27 to 30 June 2019. The final day of competition featured a mixed team event, won by team Turkey.

The 2022 European Cadet Judo Championships was held at the Sport Hall Intersport in Poreč, Croatia, from 23 to 26 June 2022, with the mixed team competition taking place on the competition's last day.
