The Pan American Judo Championships are continental judo Championships organized by the Pan American Judo Confederation since 2009. Previous championships were organized by the Panamerican Judo Union. From 2022 they are renamed to Pan American-Oceania Judo Championships.

Typically these championships are recurring, the most common formats being annual, biennial and quadrennial. The Pan American Games is the highest level sporting competition for the region. It is common for there to be sport-specific governing bodies to organise these regional competitions, such as the Pan American Judo Confederation.

Mayra Aguiar da Silva is a Brazilian judoka. She was a bronze medallist in three consecutive Olympics, 2012, 2016 and 2020. She is also three-time world champion. She is the first Brazilian woman to win three Olympic medals in an individual sport, being the best female judoka in the history of Brazil.

Felipe Kitadai is a judoka from Brazil. He won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics and a gold at the 2011 Pan American Games. He also won gold medals six consecutive times in the Pan American Games Judo Championships: at 2011 Guadalaraja, 2012 Montreal, 2013 San José, 2014 Guayaquil, 2015 Edmonton and 2016 Havana.

The Pan American Judo Confederation (PJC) is an international organization comprising most of the national Judo federations and associations of the Americas, and is one of five such continental organizations recognized by the International Judo Federation. The 2020 Pan American Judo Championships was a judo event which took place in Guadalajara, Mexico, from 19 to 22 November 2020. The championships were originally scheduled to be held in Montreal, Canada, from 17 to 19 April 2020, but were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Daniel Borges Cargnin is a Brazilian judoka. He won the bronze medal at the 2020 Olympic Games and the 2022 World Championships, in addition to being three-time Pan American Judo champion.

The 2022 Pan American Judo Championships were held in Lima, Peru from 15 to 17 April 2022. This edition of the Pan American Judo Championships was combined with the Oceania Judo Championships.

Keagan Young is a Canadian judoka who competes in the men's 90 kg category and formerly in the 81 kg category. Young was raised and lives in Markham, Ontario, Canada.
