The Pan American Judo Championships are continental judo Championships organized by the Pan American Judo Confederation since 2009. Previous championships were organized by the Panamerican Judo Union. From 2022 they are renamed to Pan American-Oceania Judo Championships.
Mayra Aguiar da Silva is a Brazilian judoka. She was a bronze medallist in three consecutive Olympics, 2012, 2016 and 2020. She is also three-time world champion. She is the first Brazilian woman to win three Olympic medals in an individual sport.
Kelita Zupancic is a judoka from Canada. Zupancic won gold medals for Canada at the 2010, 2013 and 2015 Pan Am judo championships.
Verónica Saraí Mendoza Lara is a judoka from El Salvador.
Janine Nakao is a judoka from United States.
Josiane Falco is a female judoka from Brazil. She won a bronze medal at the 2010 Pan American Judo Championships in the women's –57 kg event.
Mariana dos Santos Silva is a judoka from Brazil who competes in the women's half-middleweight (-63kg). She won a bronze at the 2015 Pan American Games. That year, she also won gold at the World Military Games. In 2016, she won the Pan American Judo Championships, having won silver in 2011 and 2015, and bronze medals in 2010 and 2012. Previously, she won a bronze medal in the 2009 World Junior Championships. She has appeared at two Olympics for Brazil.

The 2007 North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships was a regional track and field competition held at the Flor Blanca National Stadium in San Salvador, El Salvador, from July 13–15, 2007. It was the inaugural edition of a senior track and field championship for the NACAC region. A total of forty-three events were contested, 22 by male and 21 by female athletes.
The 2011 Pan American Judo Championships was held in Guadalajara, Mexico at the CODE II Gymnasium from April 1–2, 2011. The event is being held as a test event for the 2011 Pan American Games. Also this event is one of the qualification event for the judo events at the 2011 Pan American Games.
Felipe Kitadai is a judoka from Brazil. He won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics and a gold at the 2011 Pan American Games. He also won gold medals six consecutive times in the Pan American Games Judo Championships: at 2011 Guadalaraja, 2012 Montreal, 2013 San José, 2014 Guayaquil, 2015 Edmonton and 2016 Havana.
