Vanessa Martina Zambotti Barreto is a Mexican judoka.
The International Judo Federation (IJF) is the international governing body for judo, founded in July 1951. Today the IJF has 200 National Federations on all continents. There are over 20 million people around the globe who practice judo, according to the IJF.
James A. Pedro is an American retired World Champion and Olympic judoka, as well as a current judo coach. Pedro currently holds a 7th degree black belt in judo. He is the coach of Kayla Harrison, the first and currently only American to win an Olympic gold medal in judo.
Jason Newth Morris is an American retired judoka. He was a four-time Olympian and 2008 Olympic Coach, best known for winning the silver medal in the –78 kg weight category in the 1992 Summer Olympics and a Bronze Medal in the 1993 World Judo Championships. He is a Hachidan his favorite techniques are Uchi Mata, Tai Otoshi, and his "Sticker or Sticky Foot". He was also an NCAA Division I All-American wrestler and 2x EIWA conference champion at Syracuse University.
Clyde Worthen, born in Arizona, United States, is a 6th Degree Black Belt judoka. He was trained by Yoshisada Yonezuka at the Cranford Judo Karate Center.
Henri Bernard Gauthier was a judo practitioner involved in the creation of the Pan-American Judo Union. He served as the first president of the Canadian Judo Federation from 1949 until 1960. He introduced the formation of several judo leagues for the expansion of judo throughout the Canada and abroad. He maintained continuous liaison with the International Judo Federation and the affiliated national delegations for the purpose of exchanging on technical and administrative matters.
The Pan American Judo Championships are continental judo Championships organized by the Pan American Judo Confederation since 2009. Previous championships were organized by the Panamerican Judo Union. From 2022 they are renamed to Pan American-Oceania Judo Championships.
Mayra Aguiar da Silva is a Brazilian judoka. She was a bronze medallist in three consecutive Olympics, 2012, 2016 and 2020. She is also three-time world champion. She is the first Brazilian woman to win three Olympic medals in an individual sport, being the best female judoka in the history of Brazil.

The Pan American Judo Confederation (PJC) is an international organization comprising most of the national Judo federations and associations of the Americas, and is one of five such continental organizations recognized by the International Judo Federation. The PJC replaced the Pan American Judo Union (PJU) when it was founded in 2009, a decision which has been contested by the remaining members of the PJU.

Further continental quotas also qualify subject to an overall limit of 1 judoka per NOC. The qualification is allocated to the athlete.
