    Vanessa Martina Zambotti Barreto is a Mexican judoka.

    James A. Pedro is an American retired World Championship and Olympic judoka and current judo coach. Pedro currently holds a 7th degree black belt in judo. He is the coach of Kayla Harrison, the first and currently only American to win an Olympic gold medal in judo.

    Jason Newth Morris is an American retired judoka. He was a four-time Olympian and 2008 Olympic Coach, best known for winning the silver medal in the ‍–‍78 kg weight category in the 1992 Summer Olympics and a Bronze Medal in the 1993 World Judo Championships.     Henri Bernard Gauthier was a judo practitioner involved in the creation of the Pan-American Judo Union. He served as the first president of the Canadian Judo Federation from 1949 until 1960. He introduced the formation of several judo leagues for the expansion of judo throughout the Canada and abroad. He maintained continuous liaison with the International Judo Federation and the affiliated national delegations for the purpose of exchanging on technical and administrative matters.

    Mayra Aguiar da Silva is a Brazilian judoka. She was a bronze medallist in three consecutive Olympics, 2012, 2016 and 2020. She is also three-time world champion. She is the first Brazilian woman to win three Olympic medals in an individual sport, being the best female judoka in the history of Brazil.

    Felipe Kitadai is a judoka from Brazil. He won a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics and a gold at the 2011 Pan American Games. He also won gold medals six consecutive times in the Pan American Games Judo Championships: at 2011 Guadalaraja, 2012 Montreal, 2013 San José, 2014 Guayaquil, 2015 Edmonton and 2016 Havana.

    Maria de Lourdes Mazzoleni Portela is a Brazilian middleweight judoka. She won bronze medals at the 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games, and competed at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics. At the 2012 Olympics, she lost her first match to Yuri Alvear. At the 2016 Games, she beat Assmaa Niang in the first round, before losing to Bernadette Graf in the second.

    The Pan American Judo Confederation (PJC) is an international organization comprising most of the national Judo federations and associations of the Americas, and is one of five such continental organizations recognized by the International Judo Federation. The PJC replaced the Pan American Judo Union (PJU) when it was founded in 2009, a decision which has been contested by the remaining members of the PJU.

    Tammy Hostetler is an American former competitor in the sport of judo. In 1977, she was recognized by Black Belt magazine as one of the Top 10 female judoka in the United States.
