The 2024 Pan American-Oceania Judo Championships was a joint edition of the Pan American Judo Championships and the Oceania Judo Championships that was held at the Carioca Arena 1 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 25 to 28 April 2024 as part of the IJF World Tour and during the 2024 Summer Olympics qualification period. The World Judo Championships are the highest level of international judo competition, next to the quadrennial judo events at the Summer Olympic Games. The world championships are held by the International Judo Federation annually, except the calendar years of the Summer Olympics. Qualified judoka compete in their respective categories as representatives of their home countries. Team fixtures have also been held since 1994. The men's championships first took place in 1956, though the format and periodicity of the competition have changed over time. The last edition of the World Judo Championships (2024) was held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Mayra Aguiar da Silva is a Brazilian judoka. She was a bronze medallist in three consecutive Olympics, 2012, 2016 and 2020. She is also three-time world champion. She is the first Brazilian woman to win three Olympic medals in an individual sport, being the best female judoka in the history of Brazil.
Rafaela Lopes Silva is a Brazilian judoka. She won gold medals at the World Judo Championships of 2013 and 2022 and at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the –57 kg weight division. Currently, she occupies the rank of graduation third sergeant in the Navy of Brazil and integrates the Center of Physical Education Admiral Nunes (CEFAN), the Military Sports Department.
Rafael Carlos da Silva is a Brazilian heavyweight judoka. He has two Olympic bronze medals in addition to having 4 individual medals in World Judo Championships, in addition to being a six-time Pan American Judo champion.

Oceania Judo Championships is the Judo Oceanian Championship organized by the Oceania Judo Union. Since 2022 the tournament is held together with the Pan American Judo Championships. It was renamed to the Pan American-Oceania Judo Championships.
Joshua Katz is an Australian Olympic judoka, who competes at −60 kg. He has won 11 Oceania titles and 12 Australian titles as of February 2024. He also won the 2022 Commonwealth Games bronze medal and the 2023 Pan American-Oceania Judo Championships silver medal.
Larissa Cincinato Pimenta is a Brazilian judoka. A two-time Olympian, she won the bronze medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. At the 2019 Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru, she won the gold medal in the 52 kg event. She is also a five-time gold medalist in her event at the Pan American Judo Championships.
Vanessa Fernanda Chalá Minda is an Ecuadorian judoka. She is a gold medalist at the South American Games and a two-time gold medalist at the Pan American Judo Championships. She is also a bronze medalist at the Pan American Games.
Daniel Borges Cargnin is a Brazilian judoka. He won the bronze medal at the 2020 Olympic Games and the 2022 World Championships, in addition to being three-time Pan American Judo champion.
