The 2024 Pan American-Oceania Judo Championships was a joint edition of the Pan American Judo Championships and the Oceania Judo Championships that was held at the Carioca Arena 1 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from 25 to 28 April 2024 as part of the IJF World Tour and during the 2024 Summer Olympics qualification period. [1] [2] The last day of competition featured a mixed team event. [3]

At the 2019 Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru, she won the gold medal in the 52 kg event. She is also a five-time gold medalist in her event at the Pan American Judo Championships.

Vanessa Fernanda Chalá Minda is an Ecuadorian judoka. She is a gold medalist at the South American Games and a two-time gold medalist at the Pan American Judo Championships. She is also a bronze medalist at the Pan American Games.
