James A. Pedro is an American retired World Championship and Olympic judoka and current judo coach. Pedro currently holds a 7th degree black belt in judo. He is the coach of Kayla Harrison, the first and currently only American to win an Olympic gold medal in judo.
José Vicbart Geraldino Rosello is a judoka from the Dominican Republic, who competed in the men's middleweight category. He picked up a total of thirteen medals in his career, including six from the Pan American Judo Championships, and represented his nation Dominican Republic in the 90-kg class in two editions of the Olympic Games. Coming from a sporting pedigree, Geraldino also shared the same sport with his older brother Jose Augusto, who competed in the 100-kg division at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics. They also have a younger brother called Jose Antonio which competed internationally as well in the 90-kg class.
Elvismar Nicanor Rodríguez Ruiz is a judoka from Venezuela. She represented her country in the 2016 Summer Olympics in the Women's 70 kg competition, but lost to Antónia Moreira of Angola in the first round via ippon. She also competed in the women's 70 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
