Pan-American Para Table Tennis Championships

Pan-American Para Table Tennis Championships is a quadrennial sports event for para table tennis players who represent a North, Central or South American country. It started in 1995, there was a six year break then in 2001, it became a biennial event, after 2005, it became a quadrennial event. This event occurs one year before the Parapan American Games as a qualifying tournament.

After the 2010 championships there were significant changes in the format of the competition. Now being held as a regional championships, the associations were divided into two divisions based on there geographical location either east or west. However, the competition was revised back to its original format as an area championships in 2013.

Sean ONeill (table tennis) American table tennis player and coach

Sean O'Neill is an American table tennis player and coach. He began playing table tennis in Virginia at the age of 8 with this father, Patrick, who was a nationally ranked junior player from Toledo, Ohio. O'Neill went on to win every US National Age Championship title, including the Under 11, 13, 15, 17, 21, and Over 30 events. In addition to the age events, O'Neill won the US National Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles Championships.

Ariel Hsing American table tennis player

Ariel Yenhua Hsing is an American table tennis player who competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Lily Ann Zhang is an American table tennis player who competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London with teammates Ariel Hsing and Erica Wu. She also competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio with teammates Jiaqi Zheng and Jennifer Wu. She is a five time US national champion in women's singles. Zhang has won the US national championship in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019. In 2011, she was a bronze medalist in women's singles and women's team at the Pan American Games and won the women's doubles title at the Qatar Peace and Sport Cup. She is currently a member of the United States National Women's team. She has been ranked as high as #2 in the cadet (U-15) world ranking and #5 in the junior (U-18) world ranking.

The World Para Table Tennis Championships are the world championships for para table tennis where athletes with a disability compete. They are organised by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) on a four-year rotation with the Paralympic Games.

Adriana Yamila Díaz González is a Puerto Rican table tennis player. As of August 2019 she was ranked 3 and 30 in the Table Tennis World Ranking according to the International Table Tennis Federation. Díaz is sponsored by Butterfly and Adidas. Adriana is the sister of the table tennis player, Melanie Díaz, and cousin of Brian Afanador.

The GCC Games is a regional multi-sport event which involves participants from the Gulf Cooperation Council region. The GCC Games, a quadrennial multi-sport event, was established by the union and first held in 2011. There are numerous long-running GCC Championships for individual sports, including: the Gulf Cooperation Council Athletics Championships sailing, basketball, swimming, tennis, gymnastics, weightlifting, futsal, snooker, and table tennis.

European Para Table Tennis Championships are a biennial sport event for para table tennis players who represent a European country. It is one of the first regional para table tennis championships to be held. France have so far earned the most medals in these championships.

The following is the qualification system and list of qualified nations for the table tennis at the 2019 Pan American Games competition.

Qualification for table tennis at the 2020 Summer Paralympics began on 1 January 2019 and ended on 31 March 2021. There were 174 male athlete and 106 female athlete quotas in 31 events for the sport.

Ian Kent Canadian para table tennis player

Ian Kent is a Canadian para table tennis player. He is a double singles champion in the Para Pan-American Para Table Tennis Championships and has won six medals in Parapan American Games.

Oceania Para Table Tennis Championships is a biennial sports event for para table tennis players who represent an Oceanian country. It debuted in 2011 after Asia and Oceania Para Table Tennis Championships separated.

Asian Para Table Tennis Championships are a biennial sports event for para table tennis players who represent an Asian country. It debuted in 2005 as Asia and Oceania Championships but separated in 2013.

African Para Table Tennis Championships are a biennial sport event for para table tennis players who represent an African country. It was originally called the Africa/Middle East Championships from 1999 to 2005. Players from the Middle East now compete in Asian Para Table Tennis Championships since 2005.

Argentina competed in the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan from 24 August to 5 September 2021.

The INAS Global Games is a quadrennial global, international multi-sport event organised by the International Sports Federation for Persons with Intellectual Disability (INAS). First organised in 2004, it is intended for elite competition in disability sports for athletes with intellectual disability and, since 2017, autism and down syndrome. It is the largest sporting event of its type. Athletes must have received classification from INAS to compete.
