The Wallaceburg Red Devils are Junior "B" box lacrosse team from Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada. The Red Devils play in the OLA Junior B Lacrosse League and were 2001 Founders Cup National Champions.
The Wallaceburg Red Devils played their first season in the Summer of 1998. At times, the Red Devils played some of their home games in the nearby Town of Walpole Island, Ontario. Eventually they moved full time into the town of Wallaceburg.
The Red Devils are best known for coming out of nowhere in 2001 to win the Founders Cup National title. In 2001, the Red Devils were a true sleeper. After their first three season, Wallaceburg was developing quite well as a lacrosse team but showed no real threat towards winning any championships. They finished the regular season quite well with a 16-4-0 record, placing 2nd in the West. In the first round of the playoffs, they defeated the Welland Warlords 3 games to none. In the second round, they beat the Six Nations Red Rebels 4 games to 1. In the Conference Final, they beat the powerhouse Elora Mohawks, who did not lose a regular season game, 3 games to 2. In the series, the Mohawks actually beat the Devils 25-6 in Game 3, but when Elora forced a fifth and deciding game, both teams went the distance with the Red Devils coming out on top 12-11 in double overtime. Both the Red Devils and Scarborough Saints (East Champions) moved on to the Founders Cup, the highest placing of the two would be presented the J.A. MacDonald Trophy as OLA Champions.
At the Founders Cup, in the round robin the Red Devils would beat the Poco Saints 17-6, Calgary Bandits 17-4, the Manitoba Falcons 19-10, and the Edmonton Miners 10-8 to finish first in Pool A. In the crossover semi-final, the Red Devils defeated the Delta Islanders 11-5 to earn a berth into the national final. With the win, as Scarborough lost their semi-final, the Red Devils were declared OLA MacDonald Trophy Champions. In the final, the Red Devils again met Edmonton, this time beating them 10-5 to win the Founders Cup. [1]
Goalie Josh McNaughton was named to the tournament all-star team, while Kevin Dostie was declared the most valuable player. [1]
The Red Devils have a territorial rivalry with the nearby and much older Point Edward Pacers franchise. In 2003, the Windsor Fratmen (now Windsor Clippers) and London Blue Devils joined the fray and the four teams formed the Far West Division in the Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League. The four teams maintain an often heated and competitive rivalry. Since 2003, the Clippers have led the way with 9 division titles, but neither London, Windsor, or Point Edward have won a Founders Cup since Wallaceburg's win in 2001. The Red Devils also have a healthy rivalry with the Six Nations Rebels of Hagersville, Ontario as both teams are based in Native Reserve communities.

The Windsor Clippers is a Canadian junior box lacrosse team and members of the Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League of the Ontario Lacrosse Association. The team, from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, was known as the Windsor AKO Fratmen from 2003 until 2009 as they were sponsored by the AKO Fraternity.
The Ontario Lacrosse Association is a not-for-profit sport organization and a member association of the Canadian Lacrosse Association, the national governing body for lacrosse in Canada. The Ontario Lacrosse Association is the largest provincial lacrosse governing body within Canada. The mission of the OLA is to govern, improve, foster, and perpetuate the sport of lacrosse in Ontario. It was established in 1897.
The Founders' Cup is the championship trophy of Canada's Junior "B" lacrosse leagues. The custodial duties of this trophy fall upon the Canadian Lacrosse Association. The national champions are determined through a round robin format with a playdown for the final.
The Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League (OJBLL) is a box lacrosse league sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association in Canada. The league features twenty-five teams in Ontario, one in Quebec, and one in the Akwesasne that annually play a 20-game schedule and four rounds of playoffs for the J. A. MacDonald Trophy. After the conclusion of the playoffs, a league champion represents the OJBLL at the Founders Cup National Junior B Championship.
The Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (OJLL) is considered the most competitive Junior A men's box lacrosse league in the world and the number one source for talent for the National Lacrosse League (NLL). The OJLL is sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association. It is an 11 team league wherein the top 8 go to the playoffs and battle it out for top spot in Ontario. The Ontario Champion is annually awarded the Iroquois Trophy and moves on to compete against teams from Alberta and British Columbia for the Minto Cup - the Junior A National Box Lacrosse Championship of Canada. Ontario has captured the Minto Cup fifty-six times since 1937. Since the first NLL draft in 1996, sixteen OJLL alumni have been selected first overall.
Ontario Series Lacrosse, known as the OLA Senior B Lacrosse League from 1999-2019, is a Senior box lacrosse league based out of Ontario, Canada sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association. Many of the players in the league play or have played in the National Lacrosse League. OSL winners earn a chance at the national championship—the Presidents Cup.
Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) is a Senior A box lacrosse league based in Ontario, Canada sanctioned by the Ontario Lacrosse Association. Most of the star players in the league play or have played in the National Lacrosse League. Each year, the playoff teams battle for the right to compete against the Western Lacrosse Association champion for the Mann Cup every September. The championship is hosted alternately between Ontario and British Columbia every year.

The Oakville Buzz are Canadian box lacrosse team from Oakville, Ontario, Canada that play in the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League. The Buzz played in the OLA Junior B Lacrosse League from 2001-2018. The Buzz won the 2006 Founders Cup Canadian Junior B National Champions.

Miro "Medo" Martinello is a Canadian former professional box lacrosse player, coach, and ice hockey referee, born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada of Italian descent. He is a member of the Windsor and Essex County Sports Hall of Fame, Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame, and is a recipient of the Canadian Government 125th Anniversary of Confederation Medal "for outstanding Achievements on behalf of Canada".
