Walter Nathan (born 3 April 1962) is a Peruvian former international table tennis player. [1]

Nathan was a singles bronze medalist at the 1983 Pan American Games. He represented Peru at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, where he partnered his brother Yair in the doubles event. [2]

The Peru national football team represents Peru in men's international football. The national team has been organised, since 1927, by the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF). The FPF constitutes one of the ten members of FIFA's South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL). Ángel Uribe Sánchez, was a football forward player from Peru who played his entire club career for Universitario de Deportes. Uribe also played for the Peru national team on ten occasions between 1960 and 1967. He was part of Peru's squad at the 1960 Summer Olympics.

Peru v Austria was a football match played on 8 August 1936 during the Summer Olympics at Hertha Platz in Berlin. The match became notable for causing a huge controversy after it was annulled because of a pitch invasion from Peruvian supporters who would have also beat Austrian players. Peru had scored five goals on extra time, but the referee disallowed three of them and the match ended 4–2.

Rodrigo Daniel Pacheco Carrillo is a Peruvian badminton player. Pacheco started playing badminton when he was 6 years old at the club Regatas Lima. He had made his debut at the Pan Am Junior Championships in 1996, and became the senior national team member in 2001. He was the bronze medalists at the Pan American Games, in the men's singles event in 2007, and also in the mixed doubles event in 2007 and 2011. In 2010, he won triple gold medals at the South American Games in the men's doubles, mixed doubles, and mixed team event. He competed for Peru at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Pacheco educated Sports management at the University College of Northern Denmark.

Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
