Glenn Alan Robinson Jr. is an American former professional basketball player. Nicknamed "Big Dog" and "The Chosen One", he played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1994 to 2005 for the Milwaukee Bucks, Atlanta Hawks, Philadelphia 76ers, and San Antonio Spurs. Robinson attended Purdue University and was the first overall pick in the 1994 NBA draft. He is the father of Glenn Robinson III, who played college basketball at the University of Michigan and has also played in the NBA.
Kimberly Duane Mulkey is an American college basketball coach and former player. Since 2021, she has been the head coach for Louisiana State University's women's basketball team. A Pan-American gold medalist in 1983 and Olympic gold medalist in 1984, she is the first coach in NCAA basketball history to win national championships as a player, assistant coach, and head coach. Since the inception of the NCAA women's tournament in 1982, Mulkey has participated as a player or coach every year except 1985 and 2003.

The Mr. Show-Me Basketball honor recognizes the top male high school basketball player in the state of Missouri. The name of the award differs from other Mr. Basketball awards to reflect Missouri's state nickname, the Show-Me State. The award is presented annually by the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association. In order to be considered for the award, nominees must have been nominated by their high school coach, started in 90 percent of all games, must be high school seniors, and must be of "outstanding moral character". Ten boys are selected as finalists after nominations are compiled, and a special committee of assistant college coaches in Missouri choose the winner.
The Mr. Kansas Basketball honor recognizes the best high school basketball player in the state of Kansas as voted on by the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association. The players listed below also will have which college they attended, as well as if they were drafted into the NBA draft. Five different schools have had multiple winners, McPherson has the most. Hayden in Topeka, Leavenworth, Topeka West, and Wichita South have also had multiple winners. Kansas has had the most Mr. Kansas basketball commits with seven. Only six winners of the award have been drafted into the NBA.
The Mr. Colorado Basketball honor recognizes the top boys’ high school basketball player in the state of Colorado. The trademarked award has been presented annually since 1993 by The Denver Post to the player of the year selected from the best players in each of the five high school divisions.

The Baltimore City College boys' basketball team, known as the "Black Knights", or formerly, the "Castlemen", and "Alamedans", is the high school basketball team of Baltimore City College, popularly referred to as "City College", or simply "City". The school's athletic teams were primarily referred to as the "Collegians" prior to 1953, a moniker that is still used alternatively today. One of the earliest results recorded in program history is a one-point overtime road loss to the University of Maryland Terrapins on January 25, 1913. With a recorded history spanning more than 110 years, the program is one of the oldest high school basketball teams in the United States. From 1919 to 1992, the team competed as members of the Maryland Scholastic Association (MSA). During this period the team won thirteen MSA conference championships.
