The men's tournament of water polo at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada took place between the 7 and 15 of July at the Markham Pan Am Centre in Markham, Ontario. [1] [2] The winner of the competition qualified directly for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, while the second through fourth-place finishing teams qualified for the 2016 Men's Water Polo Olympic Games Qualification Tournament to be held in Florence, Italy. [3]

Qualification

A National Olympic Committee may enter one men's team for the water polo competition. Canada, the host nation along with seven other countries qualified through regional competitions. [4]

A total of eight men's and women's teams competed in each respective tournament.
