Watt Marcus (born 26 November 1973), is a Malaysian rock musician best known as the bass guitarist of the Bornean hard rock band Masterpiece. Marcus joined Masterpiece in 2003 as the band's bassist, with whom he achieved mainstream success in the late 2000s.

The band comprises vocalist Depha Masterpiece, lead guitarist Willy Edwin, guitarist Kennedy Edwin, bassist Watt Marcus, drummer Harold Vincent, keyboardist Valentine Jimmy and Roslee Qadir. The group was renamed Masterpiece in 2005 after Depha was hired as the band's new vocalist. Drummer Roni and keyboardist Dellender Wilson and Timothy are former members of the band.
Watt Marcus was born on 26 November 1973 and raised in the town of Sibu, Sarawak.
Sibu is an inland town at the central region of Sarawak and the capital of Sibu District in Sibu Division, Sarawak, Malaysia. The town is located on the island of Borneo and covers an area of 129.5 square kilometres (50.0 sq mi). Marcus is a former bass player for a semi-regular touring rock band named Black Monkey from Sibu, Sarawak, along with the band's current lead vocalist, Depha.In 2003, while he is still playing for Black Monkey ,he was approached by a founding member of Masterpiece, Willy Edwin and his brother Kennedy Edwin to join the band as a session bass player. He has since become a permanent member of the band and responsible for the bassline on all released albums by the band.

Willy Edwin, better known by his stage name Will Masterpiece, is a Malaysian rock musician best known as the co-founder and the primary lead guitarist of the Bornean hard rock band Masterpiece, with whom he achieved mainstream success in the late 2000s. Edwin co-founded Masterpiece, formerly known as Masterjam with his brother Kennedy Edwin in 2003, and has since released five studio albums with the band. Like the other left-handed guitarist, Edwin had the instrument strung upside-down with the high E on the top.
Kennedy Edwin is an Iban musician who serves as the rhythm and vocals for Bornean hard rock band Masterpiece. Along with his brother Willy Edwin, he is one of the founding members of Masterpiece, and has since released five studio albums with the band.
Merindang Ke Bintang is the debut studio album by Malaysian rock band from Sarawak, the Masterpiece. It was released in 2009 through Masterjam Studio and re-released on Panggau Buluh Pengerindu Records in 2010. The album is the band's most popular album, receiving the Album of the Year award at the 2010 Dayak Music Awards in Kuching, Sarawak.

Ngarap Ka Nuan Nikal Pulai is the fourth studio album by Malaysian rock band from Sarawak, the Masterpiece. The album consists of ten tracks and titled Ngarap Ka Nuan Nikal Pulai reflecting the lead single title from the album. It was released on March 21, 2016 through Panggau Buluh Pengerindu in Sarawak and Johor. The album receiving the 'Album of the Year' award at the 2016 Dayak Music Awards while the lead single "Ngarap Ka Nuan Nikal Pulai" has won the 'Song of the Year' award at the 2016 ACSJ Music Awards.
"Kaban" is a single recorded by the iban rock band Masterpiece. The song was officially released on October 19, 2016 through YouTube via their independent label, Masterjam Studio. The song was released as a digital download single on the same day. In an interview with The Borneo Post on December 8, the band had announced that "Kaban" is the promotional single for their upcoming fifth studio album which planned to be released in 2017.
The Dayak or Dyak or Dayuh are the native people of Borneo.
