Waverly School District 145

School District #145 is a public school district serving the communities of Alvo, Eagle, Prairie Home, Walton, and Waverly in Nebraska, United States. The district provides primary and secondary education for over 2000 students in grades K-12. [1] The district is governed by a six-member community-elected board, and the current superintendent is Cory Worrell.

The Millard Public Schools is a school district in the southwest part of Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The first school in Millard was established in the fall of 1870. The school district is named for Ezra Millard (1833-1886), who platted Millard, a mostly uninhabited prairie 12 miles southwest of the city. The former city of Millard was annexed by the City of Omaha in 1971 after a lengthy legal battle. It serves a number of small communities including Roca, Hickman, Firth, Cortland, Panama, Princeton, Holland, Cheney, and Rokeby. The school district was founded on June 1, 1964, and was named in honor of Senator George William Norris, who represented the state of Nebraska in the United States Senate from 1913 to 1943. The school district currently enrolls just under 2000 students in grades K-12.
