Waves is the only album by Canadian rock band Story Untold. [1] The songs "Delete" and "Drown in My Mind" from the album were released as singles. [2] .

In 2016, Eric Tobin of Hopeless Records got in touch with Paul Marc Rousseau of Silverstein and Janick Thibault of Story Untold so that way Thibault's songwriting could be improved. Since the contact, Rousseau ended up co-producing the album. According to Thibault, Rousseau sent Thibault demos of songs Rousseau was working on and In Or Out caught Thibault's attention and was the first song that was confirmed by the band that was going to be on the album. The 3ND is a song Thibault wrote in 2015 about an ex-girlfriend and his relationship and how Thibault was unhappy with relationship he was in while the ex thought it was okay. Thibault wanted The 3ND to sound like if Bullet for My Valentine and Sum 41 wrote a song together. Drown In My Mind is a song Thibault wrote about based on his alcoholism, low self-esteem, and tending to over think things. Delete is a song that was supposed to have been for 5 Seconds of Summer. Dreams That We Don't Share is a song about people not agreeing with certain situations as confirmed by Thibault.
According to the band on their Facebook, the band finished their first album on February 11, 2017 with the post "AND IT'S A WRAP! OUR 1ST ALBUM IS COMPLETE! We've worked really hard on this album and we hope you guys will love it as much as we do! BIG thanks to Derek Hoffman & Paul Marc Rousseau from Silverstein for their patience, ideas, help & all the hard work they've put into it! It was an amazing learning experience for us and we were blown away by their music knowledge and talent! That being said, thanks to all of you who are reading this right now and make sure you stay tuned 'cause things are about to get rad!"
The band first played their debut single, Delete, live on a Facebook live stream. On the album release, the band performed an album release show in Canada, acoustically. Since the acoustic performance, the band went on its first mini-headlining tour in Canada.

Waves (Acoustic Sessions) is a three track acoustic EP by Canadian rock band Story Untold.
Story Untold
Swans is an American experimental rock band formed in 1982 by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Michael Gira. One of the few acts to emerge from the New York City-based no wave scene and stay intact into the next decade, Swans have become recognized for an ever-changing sound, exploring genres such as noise rock, post-punk, industrial and post-rock. Initially, their music was known for its sonic brutality and misanthropic lyrics. Following the addition of singer, songwriter and keyboardist Jarboe in 1986, Swans began to incorporate melody and intricacy into their music. Jarboe remained the band's only constant member except Gira and semi-constant guitarist Norman Westberg until their dissolution in 1997.
Silverstein is a Canadian rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 2000. Their band name is a reference to the famous children's author Shel Silverstein, whom the band had admired and whose work they had read as children. They have released a total of 11 studio albums, seven EPs, a compilation album and a live DVD/CD. Their lineup remained unchanged for eleven years from December 2001 to September 2012, then consisting of lead vocalist Shane Told, lead guitarist Neil Boshart, rhythm guitarist Josh Bradford, bassist Billy Hamilton, and drummer Paul Koehler. In September 2012, the band had announced that Neil Boshart had been fired and would be replaced by Paul Marc Rousseau, who also joined Billy Hamilton on backing vocals. The band achieved moderate success with their second studio album, Discovering the Waterfront, which was nominated for a Juno Award and reached No. 34 on the Billboard 200 charts, with the following two albums charting at similar positions. Silverstein has sold over 1,000,000 albums worldwide.
Cute Is What We Aim For is an American rock band from Buffalo, New York. The band formed in 2005 and has since released two albums: The Same Old Blood Rush with a New Touch (2006) and Rotation (2008). They were signed to record label Fueled by Ramen for their two releases.
"Best of My Love" is a song written by Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and J. D. Souther. It was originally recorded by the Eagles, and included on their 1974 album On the Border. The song was released as the third single from the album, and it became the band's first Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single in March 1975. The song also topped the easy listening chart for one week a month earlier. Billboard ranked it as the number 12 song for 1975.
All That Remains is an American metalcore band from Springfield, Massachusetts, formed in 1998. They have released nine studio albums, a live CD and DVD, and have sold over a million records worldwide. The group currently consists of vocalist Philip Labonte, rhythm guitarist Mike Martin, and lead guitarist Jason Richardson, with Labonte being the last remaining original member. In spite of this, the band's line-up had remained consistent from the release of 2008's Overcome until 2015's The Order of Things, spanning four albums. This line-up changed, however, in September 2015, when long-time bassist Jeanne Sagan left the band, with Patrick taking her place, and then again in February 2019, when the band confirmed that Jason Richardson would be joining the band to replace the deceased lead guitarist and original member, Oli Herbert. In 2021, Aaron Patrick parted ways with All That Remains to focus on his other band, Bury Your Dead.
Arrivals & Departures is the third studio album by Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein. It was released on July 2, 2007, on Victory. Silverstein promoted the album with music videos for the tracks "If You Could See Into My Soul" and "Still Dreaming".

Deaf Havana are an English alternative rock band from Hunstanton and King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. The band was formed in 2005 at the King's Lynn campus of The College of West Anglia.
The Wonder Years is an American rock band from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, formed in July 2005. The band currently consists of Dan "Soupy" Campbell, Casey Cavaliere, Matt Brasch, Josh Martin, Nick Steinborn and Mike Kennedy. They have released seven full-length albums, two EPs, and several splits/compilations. The group is currently signed to Hopeless Records. Their name originates from a paper that Campbell read that was written by one of his after-school educators titled "The Wonder Years."
Close to Home was an American post-hardcore band from Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, that was formed in 2005. They have released two EPs and three full-length albums, Picture Perfect; their major label debut, Never Back Down, which was released on February 15, 2011; and their most recent effort, Momentum, which was released July 31, 2012 via Artery Recordings. Close to Home has toured across the United States and Europe with bands such as Silverstein, Emery, Dance Gavin Dance, In Fear and Faith, We Came as Romans, and Electric Callboy. They have also participated in 2010 and 2012's Scream It Like You Mean It tours. On December 10, 2010, they signed with Artery Recordings; however this contract has been fulfilled. The band was previously managed by Outerloop Management. Close to Home is commonly depicted as CTH.
Fools and Worthless Liars is the second album from English band Deaf Havana and the first since the departure of founding member Ryan Mellor. The album marks a departure from the band's earlier post-hardcore style of music in favour of a song orientated power pop approach heavily influenced by bands such as Jimmy Eat World as well as the modern British wave of pop punk, largely due to the band's decision not to replace Mellor, who was a screamer. Critics were generally very supportive of this development.
This Is How the Wind Shifts is the seventh studio album by Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein, released on February 5, 2013 through Hopeless Records. It is also their last release under Hopeless.

Story Untold was a Canadian rock band based in Laval, Quebec. Founded in 2012, the band signed with Hopeless Records in May 2016. Shortly after signing, they recorded their self-titled EP, then went on tour with Simple Plan and Hit the Lights. Story Untold final lineup included vocalist and main songwriter Janick Thibault and drummer Jonathan Landry. In December 2019, the band left Hopeless Records and remained as an independent group until their disbandment in 2023.
Story Untold is the self-titled EP by pop punk band Story Untold. This is the first release by the band since being signed to a label, and the only album to feature Mehdi Zidani on drums since the band's signing.
"History" is the first single from Canadian band Story Untold. The members of Story Untold are from Quebec, Canada, which is also home to Simple Plan. Simple Plan has known the five-piece for a while, and the French Canadians teamed up to write Story Untold's newest single "History". The song is about how the band is going to make it big, even if it seems like a crazy idea: "You can call me crazy/But when I close my eyes/I can see it clearly/I can see the shining lights." The song was co-penned with Simple Plan's vocalist Pierre Bouvier and drummer Chuck Comeau. The song is just one of seven songs on the band's self-titled EP. History also has a music video where the band is a part of an underground fight club. It features each boy taking on a different fighter, and it subtly introduces each band member for those who have never heard of Story Untold before. An acoustic version of the song does appear on YouTube but is not featured on the Story Untold EP.
Dead Reflection is the ninth studio album by Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein, released on July 14, 2017 through Rise Records worldwide and New Damage Records in Canada. This was the band's last album on Rise Records.
