Wayra Willk'i (Aymara wayra wind, willk'i gap, [2] "wind gap", also spelled Huayra Willkhi) is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes whhich reaches a height of approximately 4,100 m (13,500 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Cairoma Municipality, northwest of Cairoma. Wayra Willk'i lies north of Pukara Ch'utu and southeast of Wanuni. [1] [3]

Aymara language native language in South America

Aymara is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers. Aymara, along with Spanish, is one of the official languages of Bolivia and parts of Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language.

The Andes or Andean Mountains are the longest continental mountain range in the world, forming a continuous highland along the western edge of South America. This range is about 7,000 km (4,300 mi) long, about 200 to 700 km wide, and of an average height of about 4,000 m (13,000 ft). The Andes extend from north to south through seven South American countries: Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.

Kimsa Willki

Kimsa Willk'i is a 5,032-metre-high (16,509 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Inquisivi Province, in the south of the Quime Municipality. Kimsa Willk'i is situated south-east of the mountain Wisk'achani. The lakes Muyu Quta (Muyu Khota) and Wiska Quta (Wisca Khota) lie at its feet, north-west of it.

Chhuxlla Willk'i is a 4,664-metre-high (15,302 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality. Chhuxlla Willk'i is situated south-east of the 4,737-metre-high (15,541 ft) mountain named Qala Cruz (Khala Cruz) and Ch'alla Qullu, and north-east of a 4,522-metre-high (14,836 ft) mountain which is also called Qala Cruz.

Achuma (Bolivia) mountain in Bolivia

Achuma is a mountain in the northern part of the Kimsa Cruz mountain range in the Bolivian Andes, about 4,960 metres (16,273 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Cairoma Municipality. The peaks of Achuma lie north-west to north of the mountain Taruja Umaña and south of Janq'u Willk'i. There are two small lakes north of the mountain. They are named Allqa Quta and Ch'iyar Quta.

Janqu Willki (Cairoma)

Janq'u Willk'i is a mountain in the northern part of the Kimsa Cruz mountain range in the Bolivian Andes, about 4,800 metres (15,748 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Cairoma Municipality. Janq'u Willk'i lies north of the mountains Taruja Umaña and Achuma. There are two small lakes at the feet of Achuma and Janq'u Willk'i. They are named Allqa Quta and Ch'iyar Quta.

Churi Willki

Churi Willk'i is a 4,256-metre-high (13,963 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Pacajes Province, Calacoto Municipality. Pukara lies north of the Anallajsi volcano, south of the mountain Urqipi and north-east of the mountain Pukara.

Wayra Lupi Qullu mountain in Bolivia

Wayra Lupi Qullu is a 4,732-metre-high (15,525 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Pacajes Province, Charaña Municipality. It lies at the river Phaq'u Q'awa which later is named Achuta. Wayra Lupi Qullu is situated east of the mountains Ch'iyara Salla and Kunturiri.

Killima Parki

K'illima Parki is a 4,979-metre-high (16,335 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Pacajes Province, Charaña Municipality. It lies south-west of the mountain Kunturiri. The peak south-west of K'illima Parki is named Wari Willk'i.

Challa Willki (La Paz)

Ch'alla Willk'i is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes, about 4,940 m (16,210 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Murillo Province, La Paz Municipality, east of the main range of the Cordillera Real. Ch'alla Willk'i lies between Kunturiri in the southwest and Llust'a in the northeast, and northwest of Turini. A little river named Ch'iyar Jawira originates near the mountain. It flows to the northeast.

Janq'u Willk'i is a 3,762-metre-high (12,343 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Luribay Municipality. Janq'u Willk'i lies west of Kuntur Jiwaña.

Kuntur Jiwaña is a mountain in the Bolivian Andes which reaches a height of approximately 3,760 m (12,340 ft). It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, on the border of the municipalities of Cairoma and Luribay. Kuntur Jiwaña lies east of Janq'u Willk'i.

Wanuni is a 4,148-metre-high (13,609 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the La Paz Department, Loayza Province, Cairoma Municipality, northwest of Cairoma. Wanuni lies southwest of Llallawa, northwest of Wayra Willk'i and southeast of Liqiliqini.

Ch'alla Willk'i is a 4,182-metre-high (13,720 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, San Pedro de Totora Province. The Luk'i Jawira (Lokhe Jahuira) originates north of Ch'alla Willk'i. It flows to the northwest.

Japu Willki

Japu Willk'i is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia which reaches a height of approximately 4,200 m (13,800 ft). It is located in the Oruro Department, San Pedro de Totora Province. Japu Willk'i lies at the Sulluma River, southeast of Ch'alla Willk'i.
