We Can is the second extended play by South Korean girl group Weeekly. It was released on October 13, 2020, by Play M and distributed by Kakao M. The physical version of the EP was made available in two versions: "Orb" and "Wave". It contains five tracks, including the lead single "Zig Zag". [1]

Background and release

On September 21, 2020, Play M Entertainment released a teaser photo and announced that Weeekly would make a comeback with their second EP We Can. [2]

On September 25, they released the first set of concept photos for We Can. [3] On September 29, they released the second set of concept photos for We Can. [4] Six days later, on October 5, the tracklist for We Can was released. It also revealed "Zig Zag" as the lead single. [5] On October 7, the highlight medley for We Can was released. [6] On October 9, the music video teaser for "Zig Zag" was released. [7]

On October 13, We Can and the music video for "Zig Zag" was released. [8]

Promotion

At the same day as the EP release, on October 13, they had an online media showcase. [1] [9]

They promoted the single "Zig Zag" at Mnet's M Countdown , [10] Arirang TV's Simply K-Pop , [11] KBS2's Music Bank , [12] MBC's Show! Music Core , [13] SBS's Inkigayo [14] and SBS MTV's The Show . [15]

The song combines house and hip-hop/pop production, and bubblegum-pop melodies.

Weeekly is a South Korean girl group under IST Entertainment. The group is Play M Entertainment's second girl group in 10 years, after Apink. The group consists of six members: Lee Soo-jin, Monday, Park So-eun, Lee Jae-hee, Jihan and Zoa. The group debuted on June 30, 2020, with their debut EP, We Are. Originally a septet, Shin Ji-yoon left the group on June 1, 2022, citing mental health issues.

<i>Across the Universe</i> (EP) 2020 mini-album by D-Crunch

Across the Universe is the third mini-album by South Korean idol group D-Crunch. It was released on October 20, 2020, by Ai Grand Korea and distributed by Kakao M. Upon the expiration of the group's contract with their former agency All-S Company at the beginning of the year, D-Crunch signed with Ai Grand Korea. While preparing music for the project, vocalist Hyunwoo suspended his activities with the group due to a back injury that had worsened.

"Dice" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Nmixx for their second single album Entwurf. It was released as the single album's lead single by JYP Entertainment on September 19, 2022.
