"Hell in Paradise" is a song by Yoko Ono from the 1985 album Starpeace. The lyrics are about mankind's perceived idea of hell, despite living in the paradise that Ono considers to be planet Earth. After "Walking on Thin Ice", it was her biggest hit of the 1980s, charting at number 16 on the US dance chart. Ono went on hiatus after Starpeace; this would be her last proper single until 2001's remix of "Open Your Box".
"Please Don't Go Girl" is a 1988 song by American boyband New Kids on the Block. The lead vocals were sung by Joey McIntyre, Jordan Knight, and spoken by Danny Wood, but the majority of the lyrics were sung by Joey McIntyre. Written and produced by Maurice Starr, it was the first release from their second album, Hangin' Tough (1988), and also became the group's first commercial hit. "Please Don't Go Girl" first rose from #62 to #46, on the US Billboard Hot 100 singles chart during the week of July 30, 1988. The single was the first major commercial exposure of the group, resulting in somewhat of a slow, but steady climb. The single eventually peaked at #10 the week of October 8, 1988. In 1997, Aaron Carter covered this song and was featured on his international self-titled debut album.
"Cover Girl" is a 1989 single from New Kids on the Block. The lead vocals were sung by Donnie Wahlberg. The fifth and final single from their multi-platinum second studio album Hangin' Tough (1988), it peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 on the week of November 4, being held off from the top spot by Roxette's "Listen to Your Heart". The song became the fifth consecutive top 10 single from the album on the Billboard Hot 100, making NKOTB the first teen act to gain such chart success.
"Keep Ya Head Up" is a song by American rapper 2Pac from his second studio album, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... (1993). It was released on October 28, 1993 by Interscope Records as the album's third single, peaking at numbers 12 and 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Cash Box Top 100.

The discs contain a mixture of both new and previously released remixes of past New Order songs. NSER017, which contains mixes of "Blue Monday", including the original 1983 version mislabelled as 'Original 88 Version', charted in the UK top 75.
"Excuse Me Miss" is a song by American rapper Jay-Z. It released through his Roc-A-Fella Records and Def Jam Recordings on February 4, 2003, as a single for his seventh studio album The Blueprint 2: The Gift & the Curse (2002). It was also written alongside producers the Neptunes, whose Pharrell Williams sings the hook in falsetto voice (uncredited). The lyrics refer to love at first sight. It contains a more mature sound in comparison of his previous songs about women such as "Girls, Girls, Girls" and "I Just Wanna Love U ". The song samples Prince's 1990 song "Walk Don't Walk," the 2001 hit, "Take You Out" by Luther Vandross as well as "Big Poppa" by the Notorious B.I.G.
"Paninaro" is a song by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys, originally a B-side to the 1986 single "Suburbia". In 1995, a re-recording titled "Paninaro '95" was released to a wider market, to promote the duo's B-side compilation album Alternative, though only the original version was included on the compilation.

"You Don't Know" is a song by American singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper, released by Epic as the first single from Lauper's fifth album, Sisters of Avalon (1997). Remixes of the song were made by several producers such as Tony Moran and Junior Vasquez. It peaked at number 27 in the UK, while peaking at number 16 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. The song contains the word "bullshit" and was not edited out of the UK singles as is typical. While performing on several UK shows, such as Noel's House Party, she skipped the word. The music video for the song was directed by Lauper.
Playtyme Is Over is the second album by American band Immature, released on August 2, 1994; their first release with MCA. It peaked at number 88 on The Billboard 200 chart and at number 26 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The first single released from the album was "Never Lie" which peaked at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and the second single was "Constantly," which peaked at number 16 on the same chart. The third and final single released was "I Don't Mind", which peaked at number 92 on the Hot 100. It is also the first album to feature drummer Kelton "LDB" Kessee.
"What's Your Flava?" is a song by British singer Craig David. It was released on 28 October 2002 as the first single from his second studio album, Slicker Than Your Average (2002). It peaked at number eight on the UK Singles Chart. Despite only peaking at number 104 on the US Billboard Hot 100, a much lower position than previous singles "Fill Me In" and "7 Days", it was included on the soundtrack for the 2003 American film What a Girl Wants.
Diana Extended: The Remixes is a remix album released by American soul singer Diana Ross in 1994. The album includes six tracks that were reworked by some of the biggest names in the industry at the time, covering Ross' career as a solo artist and as a member of The Supremes, with Frankie Knuckles updating "Someday We'll Be Together" from 1969. The album also contains a remix of "Chain Reaction", originally released during Ross' time at RCA. The seventh track is "You're Gonna Love It", a track from the album The Force Behind the Power. The version on Diana Extended: The Remixes is a short remix available previously on a 12" single.
"Playground" is a single by Another Bad Creation, from the album Coolin' at the Playground Ya Know! Released on March 25, 1991, the song reached #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, #4 on the R&B chart, and #36 on the Dance chart.
"Thank You" is a new jack swing song by American R&B/soul group Boyz II Men, released as the third single from their second studio album, II (1994). The song was co-produced by Dallas Austin and Boyz II Men. It did not perform as well as its predecessor and reached a peak position of #21 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the Hot Singles Sales on March 18, 1995, and March 25, 1995, respectively, and also reached #17 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs. "Thank You" performed moderately well in the UK eventually peaking at #26 on the UK Singles Chart. The song also peaked at #17 on the New Zealand RIANZ singles chart, #27 on the French singles chart and #33 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart. The album version of the song is a cappella, consisting only of sounds created by the human voice, bringing to mind one of their first hit songs, "Motownphilly".
"Gots ta Be" is the second single by R&B group B2K off their self-titled debut album. The song was released in February 26, 2002 and it peaked at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 13 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
"Move" is a single by CSS, it is the third released from the album Donkey. It was released on October 13, 2008. It was remixed by Cut Copy and Frankmusik. The single failed to chart everywhere, except for Italy. It is featured in the forever 21 playlist. A remix of the song was used for a jazz routine on So You Think You Can Dance season 5, which was performed by Janette Manrana and Evan Kasprzak, and later season 8 for a solo by jazz dancer Missy Morelli.

"Strange World" is a song by American singer Ké and the lead single from the debut album I am [ ]. It was produced by Rick Neigher and Ké and written by Ké and Michael Prendergast. The song was released in 1995 by RCA Records and became a smash hit in Europe that year, topping the airplay charts in countries such as Italy and Germany. A dance remix of the track by Junior Vasquez topped the Billboard Dance/Club Play chart in 1996. The single sold around 3 million copies worldwide. Finnish band HIM released a cover of the song for their 2012 compilation album XX - Two Decades of Love Metal. In 2016, Ké appeared on a version of "Strange World" by Italian band Matmata.
"Lifted by Love" is a song performed by Canadian singer-songwriter k.d. lang, co-written with Ben Mink. It was featured in the 1993 film Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, as well as the soundtrack album. It was the first of two number one singles on the US dance chart for lang, remaining on the chart for a total of thirteen weeks.
"Say a Prayer" is a song by English band Breathe, released in the United States during August 1990 as the first single from the album Peace of Mind. The song was Breathe's sixth stateside single, and eleventh overall. In the United Kingdom, "Say a Prayer" was released in October 1990 as the second single from Peace of Mind, following "Say Hello".
