Welcome to the Jungle is the only studio album by British girl group Neon Jungle, released on 28 July 2014 by RCA Records. [2]
Welcome to the Jungle received mixed to positive reviews from contemporary music critics, who commended the group as a whole and their originality, whilst some felt they had not yet "found their sound". [3] Ally Carnwath of The Guardian called the album a "mixed bag, front-loaded with singles and with the requisite number of formulaic club bangers, but also containing some flashes of personality and nicely executed ideas". [4] Stoke Sentinel was more positive, saying that the album "has even more to give [with] no filler tracks here". [5] Helena Ho of Renowned for Sound gave the album 3 out of 5 stars and bemoaned its track listing, but she complimented individual tracks and called it "a solid debut from Neon Jungle, with a lot of ... standouts". [3]
The song "Waiting Game" by Banks was covered on Welcome to the Jungle without the singer's knowledge. [6] Her single of the song had debuted at No. 99 on the UK Singles Chart in January 2014 [7] after being featured in a Victoria's Secret commercial, [8] and was due to be featured on her debut album, Goddess . [9]
Banks posted to her Facebook account that although the use of her song was apparently legal, she felt "really icky" that so personal a song had been used on another album before it could appear on hers. [6] Helena Ho described the Neon Jungle version as a "mess" that is "horribly over-sung and nowhere near captures the sultriness of the original", [3] while Rebecca Mattina was more positive, saying that while their version "doesn’t quite have the same deep and intense allure that Banks commands with her emotionally delicate vocals, I can’t deny the power Amira and Shereen bring to those runs at the end". [10]
The album also contains a cover version of Hozier's "Take Me to Church". [9]

Hell Is for Heroes are an English post-hardcore band from London. Founder members Will McGonagle and Joe Birch were joined by James Findlay, Tom O'Donoghue and later Justin Schlosberg. The band played their formative shows in West London throughout 2001.

Neon Jungle were a British girl group consisting of Shereen Cutkelvin, Amira McCarthy, Jessica Plummer, and Asami Zdrenka. The group separated in 2015.

"Braveheart" is a song recorded by British girl group Neon Jungle for their debut studio album, Welcome to the Jungle (2014). It was released by RCA Records as the album's second single on 17 January 2014. The track was written and produced by American rapper Snob Scrilla, with additional songwriting by Cassie Davis and additional production by Baby. "Braveheart" conceptualized accidentally when the group found its demo version on the song producers' laptop and insisted that they record the song. It is an uptempo EDM dance-pop song which comprises "euphoric" instrumentation, a "hammering" bass line, "hands-in-the-air" synths and "pulsing" beats. "Braveheart" contains uplifting lyrical themes and ideals of experiences in a night club.
Pop Psychology is the third studio album by American rock band Neon Trees. The lead single, "Sleeping with a Friend", was released on January 11, 2014, and the album was released on April 22, 2014. The record is based on and is the cathartic product of lead singer, Tyler Glenn’s therapy sessions. Glenn started seeing a therapist after canceling some tour dates in 2012 while the band promoted their second record, Picture Show, due to trying to find himself mentally and figure out who he was. "At moments there's a cry for help and sadness...But I think it's a real fun pop record at the heart of it and something with a message too", he said of his band's third album. Also addressed in the album's lyricism from Glenn's therapy sessions are his sexuality and sex, in general.
