Wendy Burrell (born 16 May 1952) is a retired British international swimmer. She competed in three events at the 1968 Summer Olympics. [1] In the medley relay she competed with Margaret Auton, Dorothy Harrison and Alexandra Jackson and they came sixth. [2]

She represented England in the backstroke and medley events, at the 1970 British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh, Scotland. [3] [4] [5] At the ASA National British Championships she won the 110 yards backstroke title in 1968 and the 200 metres backstroke title twice (1968, 1970). [6] [7]

William Ray Kennedy is a Canadian former swimmer who competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics. He swam for Canada's third-place team in the preliminary heats of the men's 4x100-metre medley relay. He was ineligible to receive a medal under the Olympic swimming rules then in effect, however, because he did not swim in the event final. He also competed in the preliminary heats of the men's 200-metre backstroke, but did not advance.

Helen Marie Yate was a British swimmer. She competed in the women's 100 metre backstroke at the 1948 Summer Olympics. She represented England and won a silver medal in the 330 yards medley relay and two bronze medals in the 110 yard backstroke and 440 yard freestyle relay at the 1950 British Empire Games in Auckland, New Zealand. At the ASA National British Championships she won the 110 yards backstroke title in 1949.
