Wielgolas [vjɛlˈɡɔlas] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Latowicz, within Mińsk County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) west of Latowicz, 21 km (13 mi) south-east of Mińsk Mazowiecki, and 54 km (34 mi) east of Warsaw.

It was (re)created on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. The county contains three other towns: Sulejówek, 21 km (13 mi) west of Mińsk Mazowiecki, Halinów, 16 km (10 mi) west of Mińsk Mazowiecki, and Kałuszyn, 17 km (11 mi) east of Mińsk Mazowiecki.
