The school was ranked in 2022 by U.S. News & World Report as #18 of schools in Kentucky and #1,705 nationally. The school's facility on Fontaine Road opened in 1970.

Established in 1975, it is the newest school in the Colorado Springs School District 11, serving northeast Colorado Springs. The school was named for the District 11 superintendent at the time, Thomas Bernard Doherty. The schools that feed into Doherty include Jenkins, Russell and Sabin Middle Schools.
Cedar Ridge High School is a public secondary school in Round Rock, Texas, United States. The school opened for the 2010-2011 school year with grades nine and ten. Grade eleven was added in 2011-2012, and grade twelve in 2012-2013. The school is the 3rd largest high school in the Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD) and the 8th largest Central Texas by enrollment, as of 2021. Admission is primarily based on the locations of students' homes in the district. The school's construction was approved with the passing of RRISD's 2006 Bond, and was completed prior to the beginning of the 2010-2011 school year.
Lori Ann Endicott is a retired female volleyball player from the United States. She played for the University of Nebraska and then for the United States national team, winning a bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.

The school is well known for its marching and concert band, "The Mighty Band from Lion Land," which has won a Grammy. The band has been winning superior ratings at competitions in the United States since the 1970s and has performed at the Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Chicago, the Daytona 500 race, the Fiesta Bowl parade, and many more places over its long history.
Henry County High School was a public high school hosting grades 9–12, located in McDonough, Georgia, United States, and operated by the Henry County School District. The school is located in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Enrollment was around 1,100. The high school's campus included the Henry County Performing Arts Center and the Henry County Academy for Advanced Studies. It had recently seen major renovations and additions to its facilities, and as a result became the largest public high school in Henry County. Henry County High School students were relocated to the newly built McDonough High School following the conclusion of the 2018–2019 school year.
