The University of Windsor is a public research university in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. It is Canada's southernmost university. It has approximately 17,500 students. The university was incorporated by the provincial government in 1962 and has more than 150,000 alumni.

A new school 160,000 square feet (15,000 m2) in size with space for more than 1,200 students has been built at the corner of McHugh and Clover Avenue, just north of Tecumseh Road East in Windsor. It opened in September 2006. This newer school has replaced the former one at 5420 Empress Street in Windsor.
