The 24th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. [1] Located in southeastern Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of southeast Washington County and northeast Waukesha County. It includes the villages of Menomonee Falls and Lannon, and the southern half of the village of Germantown. [2] The district is represented by Republican Paul Melotik, since August 2023. [3] After the 2024 redistricting, Melotik no longer resides within the new district.
Wisconsin Senator Dan Knodl announced he would run in the 2024 election for the Assembly Seat. Knodl previously held the seat from 2009 to 2023, when he was elected to the Wisconsin Senate. After 2024 redistricting, Knodl is no longer within the boundries of the 8th Senate district he represents. [4]
The 24th Assembly district is located within Wisconsin's 8th Senate district, along with the 22nd and 23rd Assembly districts. [5]

Daniel Raymond Knodl is an American Republican politician from Washington County, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin Senate, having won a 2023 special election to represent the 8th State Senate district. He previously served 14 years in the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 24th Assembly district.
The 8th Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts of the Wisconsin Senate. Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district comprises northeastern Milwaukee County, southern Ozaukee County, and parts of southeastWashington County, and northeast Waukesha County. It contains the cities of Cedarburg, Port Washington, and Mequon, as well as the villages of Bayside, Butler, Fox Point, Grafton, Lannon, Menomonee Falls, River Hills, Thiensville, Whitefish Bay, and most of the villages of Brown Deer and Germantown.
Sherburn Duane "Duey" Stroebel Jr. is an American realtor and Republican politician from Cedarburg, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin Senate, representing the 20th Senate district since 2015. He previously served two terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly, from 2011 to 2015. After the latest redistricting plan, Stroebel is running for re-election in Wisconsin's 8th Senate district in 2024.

Located in the northwest corner of Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of northern Douglas County, northern Bayfield County, and northern Ashland County. The district also contains the Bad River and Red Cliff Indian reservations, Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, Big Bay State Park, Pattison State Park, Amnicon Falls State Park, and the University of Wisconsin–Superior campus. The district is represented by Republican Angie Sapik, since January 2023.
The 75th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in northwestern Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Polk County and most of Burnett County. It includes the cities of Amery and St. Croix Falls and the villages of Balsam Lake, Centuria, Clayton, Clear Lake, Dresser, Frederic, Grantsburg, Luck, Milltown, Osceola, Siren, and Webster, and part of the village of Turtle Lake. The district also contains the St. Croix Chippewa reservation, the Wisconsin portion of Interstate Park, and a significant portion of the Wisconsin side of the Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway. The district is represented by Republican David Armstrong, since January 2021. After the 2024 redistricting, Armstrong no longer resides in the new 75th district.
The 92nd Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in western Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of southwest Chippewa County and central Dunn County. It includes the cities of Chippewa Falls and Menomonie and the parts of Eau Claire which fall in Chippewa County, along with the villages of Elk Mound and Lake Hallie. The district is represented by Republican Treig Pronschinske, since January 2017.
The 2023 Wisconsin Spring Election was held in the U.S. state of Wisconsin on April 4, 2023. The featured race at the top of the ticket was for an open seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, which became the most expensive judicial election in history. Several other nonpartisan local and judicial offices were also decided on the April 4 ballot, including mayoral elections in some of Wisconsin's larger cities—Green Bay, Madison, and Racine. In addition, a special election was held in the 8th State Senate district, concurrent with the Spring elections. The 2023 Wisconsin Spring Primary was held February 21, 2023.

The 2024 Wisconsin Senate election is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Sixteen of the 33 seats in the Wisconsin Senate are up for election—the even-numbered districts. Currently, 22 Senate seats are held by Republicans, 10 seats are held by Democrats, one seat is vacant.
The Eighty-Sixth Wisconsin Legislature convened from January 3, 1983, to January 7, 1985, in regular session, and also convened in six special sessions.
