The 24th Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. [1] Located in southeastern Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of southeast Washington County and northeast Waukesha County. It includes the villages of Menomonee Falls and Lannon, and the southern half of the village of Germantown. [2] The district is represented by Republican Paul Melotik, since August 2023. [3] After the 2024 redistricting, Melotik no longer resides within the new district.

Wisconsin Senator Dan Knodl announced he would run in the 2024 election for the Assembly Seat. Knodl previously held the seat from 2009 to 2023, when he was elected to the Wisconsin Senate. After 2024 redistricting, Knodl is no longer within the boundries of the 8th Senate district he represents. [4]

The 24th Assembly district is located within Wisconsin's 8th Senate district, along with the 22nd and 23rd Assembly districts. [5]

After the latest redistricting plan, Stroebel is running for re-election in Wisconsin's 8th Senate district in 2024.

Located in northwestern Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Polk County and most of Burnett County. It includes the cities of Amery and St. Croix Falls and the villages of Balsam Lake, Centuria, Clayton, Clear Lake, Dresser, Frederic, Grantsburg, Luck, Milltown, Osceola, Siren, and Webster, and part of the village of Turtle Lake. <span class="mw-page-title-main">2023 Wisconsin elections</span>

The 2023 Wisconsin Spring Election was held in the U.S. state of Wisconsin on April 4, 2023. The featured race at the top of the ticket was for an open seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, which became the most expensive judicial election in history. Several other nonpartisan local and judicial offices were also decided on the April 4 ballot, including mayoral elections in some of Wisconsin's larger cities—Green Bay, Madison, and Racine. In addition, a special election was held in the 8th State Senate district, concurrent with the Spring elections. The 2023 Wisconsin Spring Primary was held February 21, 2023.

The 2024 Wisconsin Senate election is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Sixteen of the 33 seats in the Wisconsin Senate are up for election—the even-numbered districts. Currently, 22 Senate seats are held by Republicans, 10 seats are held by Democrats, one seat is vacant.
