Romantic comedy is a genre with light-hearted, humorous plotlines centered on romantic ideas, such as how true love is able to surmount most obstacles. One dictionary definition is "a funny movie, play, or television program about a love story that ends happily". Another definition suggests that its "primary distinguishing feature is a love plot in which two sympathetic and well-matched lovers are united or reconciled".

A remake is a film, television series or some other form of entertainment that is based on an earlier product and tells the same, or a very similar, story.

Taiwanese drama refers to dramatic programming of television programming extended stories usually dramatizing relationships through the general range of ten to forty one-hour episodes. They are produced in Taiwan and have gained increasing popularity in the Mandarin-speaking community internationally. The term "Taiwanese drama" is applied to Taiwanese miniseries in general, even including those with greater elements of comedy than of drama.

Plot

Ban Ji-yeon is a 39-year-old investigative news reporter at Trouble Maker. Her job is the most important thing in Ji-yeon's life, and she's so passionate about it that colleagues call her a "witch" behind her back. Ji-yeon focuses all her energy on work because she stopped believing in love after her last boyfriend, 41-year-old war photographer Noh Shi-hoon disappeared prior to their wedding day.

Yoon Dong-ha is a 25-year-old guy who runs a small errand center with his friend. Their store will do pretty much anything for a customer from dressing as Santa Claus to providing security for an idol star. Dong-ha seems happy-go-lucky, but he hides a secret sorrow, having lost his girlfriend to a fatal heart problem. Since her death, he's lost all his ambition and drive, with his career plans sidelined.

Sparks fly when Ji-yeon and Dong-ha meet, and despite the age difference, they find a lot in common with each other, including their scarred hearts.

Uhm Jung-hwa is a South Korean actress, singer, dancer and lingerie designer. Uhm began her career as a chorus member of MBC, one of the three major South Korean broadcasting companies, from 1987 until 1990. She made her film debut in the 1992 film Marriage Story, and released her first studio album, Sorrowful Secret, the same year.

Park Seo-joon South Korean actor

Park Seo-joon is a South Korean actor. He is best known for his roles in the television dramas Kill Me, Heal Me (2015), She Was Pretty (2015), Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2016–2017), Fight for My Way (2017), and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (2018), and the film Midnight Runners (2017).
