Jean-François Lamour is a French former fencer and current politician and cabinet minister. During his fencing career, Lamour achieved various athletic accomplishments, notably qualifying for the 1987 world championship. He earned two gold medals, two silver medals, and one bronze medal in sabre Olympic events between 1984 and 1988.

His teammate Zoltán Horváth took silver while Wladimiro Calarese of Italy finished with the bronze.

Mormando's Sabre Teammates at the Olympics include Peter Westbrook, Michael Lofton, Robert “Bobby” Cottingham, Phil Reilly, Joel Glucksman, Paul Friedberg, and John Friedberg. He is also a member of the Fencers Club in New York (USA).
Mojtaba Abedini Shourmasti is an Iranian 3-time Olympian sabre fencer. In 2012, he became the first Iranian fencer to compete in the Olympics. He won a bronze medal at the 2019 World Fencing Championships, becoming the first-ever Iranian fencer to win a medal at the World Fencing Championships.
