The Woodstock River Bandits are a collegiate summer baseball team in Woodstock, Virginia. They play in the Northern division of the Valley Baseball League.

In the 2007 Valley League Baseball Playoffs, the River Bandits received the Number 8 seed, but were eliminated by the Waynesboro Generals in the first round. 2012 The River Bandits made it to the second round of the playoffs, but lost to Winchester in the second round. 2013 The River Bandits lost in the first round of the playoffs against Aldie. In 2014 The River Bandits missed the playoffs finishing 10th out of 11th in the VBL. The Bandits made the playoffs in 2015 as the #4 seed. They were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Front Royal Cardinals. In 2016, the Bandits finished at a franchise worst 11-31. The worst in the league since Rockbridge back in 2009. In 2018 Woodstock went a league history worst 5-37 finishing last in the VBL. Woodstock hires Mike Bocock to lead the team in 2019, Bocock already an inductee in the VBL Hall of Fame. In 2019, Woodstock finished the regular season with a 25-17 record, finishing 2nd in the VBL Northern division behind the Strasburg Express. The River Bandits reached the playoffs, but were knocked off in the Northern division finals by Strasburg.

On January 21, 2021, the team announced a partnership with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and a rebranding to the Kansas City Monarchs, one of the founding teams of that league.

Randy Carlyle Canadian ice hockey player and coach

Randolph Robert Carlyle is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. He is the former head coach of the National Hockey League (NHL)'s Toronto Maple Leafs and the Anaheim Ducks. He won the Stanley Cup in 2007 with the Ducks during his first stint with the team. As a player, Carlyle dressed for over 1,000 games between the Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins and Winnipeg Jets, winning the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the NHL's best defenceman in the 1980–81 season and serving as a captain of both the Penguins and Jets.

Valley Baseball League

The Valley Baseball League is an NCAA and MLB-sanctioned collegiate summer baseball league in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia. Each Valley Baseball League season consists of 42 games played during summer, beginning the Friday after Memorial Day and continuing into late July. Playoffs immediately follow and culminate in early August.

Bruce James Cassidy is a Canadian hockey coach and former professional ice hockey player. He is the current head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previously served as the head coach of the Washington Capitals and Boston Bruins. As a defenceman, he played for the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL.

The North Shore Navigators are a wooden-bat, collegiate summer baseball team based in Lynn, Massachusetts, playing in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL). The team plays home games at Fraser Field in Lynn. The team is owned by Old School Sports Group, LLC.

Lafayette Leopards baseball

The Lafayette Leopards baseball team represents Lafayette College in NCAA Division I college baseball. The team participates in the Patriot League. They are currently coached by Tim Reilly. They play home games in Hilton Rahn '51 Field at Kamine Stadium. The Leopards have advanced to the College World Series four times. Lafayette has also qualified for the NCAA tournament ten times, but only twice since 1966.

Brisbane Bandits Australian professional baseball team

The Brisbane Bandits are a professional baseball team in Brisbane, Queensland that plays in the Australian Baseball League and is one of the six founding teams of the league. From the 2010/11 season till the 2012/13 season their home ballpark was the Brisbane Exhibition Ground, the ground which the old Brisbane Bandits played at for the majority of their nine-year tenure. As of the start of the 2013/14 the Bandits home ground is Holloway Field in Newmarket.

Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League Collegiate summer baseball league

The Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League (PGCBL) is a 16-team collegiate summer baseball league founded in 2010. As of 2022, all teams are within New York (state). All players in the league must have NCAA eligibility remaining in order to participate. Players are not paid so as to maintain their college eligibility. Each team plays an eight-week, 48 game schedule from June to August with playoffs in early August.

Upper Valley Nighthawks

The Upper Valley Nighthawks are a collegiate summer baseball team based in Hartford, Vermont. The team, a member of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL), plays their home games at the Maxfield Sports Complex. The team began play in 2016 under the direction of the Crane Family. The Cranes previously created and operated the Laconia Muskrats in the NECBL.

The Strasburg Express are a collegiate summer baseball team playing in the Northern Division of the Valley Baseball League. The team is based in Strasburg, Virginia and plays its home games at First Bank Park, on the grounds of Sandy Hook Elementary School. Strasburg joined the league in 2011, replacing the defunct Fauquier Gators. The Express have won three Valley League championships, in 2015, 2016, and 2021. Following the 2016 championship, the team was ranked 8th in the nation among collegiate summer teams. The team's current coach is George Laase, who joined the team for the 2020 season, but after COVID-19 wiped out the season, returned in 2021. A previous manager includes former New York Yankees third baseman Charlie Hayes, who managed the team in 2016 after serving as the director of scouting the year before.
