World Championship Soccer 2 is an association football video game released for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive systems in 1994, as a sequel to World Championship Soccer .
The player can choose between many different worldwide football teams. World Championship Soccer 2 has many features common to soccer games of the time, including choices of automatic defense and attack formations and strategies. There are a number of different game play options and tournaments the player can be a part of.
The game has an option to replay the games from the 1986 and 1990 World Championships.
In Europe, the game was originally released with a blue-bordered cover in the style of many late (post-1993) Sega Mega Drive releases.
The game was later re-released as part of the Sega Classic Mega Drive series. It is unusual in comparison to most other titles in this series in that it was not previously a high-selling title. [1]
GamePro gave the game a mixed review. They praised the controls and the addition of features not seen in the first game in the series, but said the soundtrack is weak and the graphics are almost identical to the original's. They concluded "though not among the elite soccer carts in terms of graphics and sounds, WCS II is solid." [2]

Sensible Soccer, often called Sensi, is an association football video game series which was popular in the early 1990s and which still retains a following. It was developed by Sensible Software and first released for Amiga and Atari ST computers in 1992 as well as for the IBM PC compatibles. The series was created by Jon Hare and Chris Yates, as a successor to their previous football game MicroProse Soccer (1988), which in turn was inspired by the arcade video game Tehkan World Cup (1985).

Jungle Strike is a video game developed and published by Electronic Arts in 1993 for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. The game was later released on several other consoles such as the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), and an upgraded version was made for DOS computers. The Amiga conversion was the responsibility of Ocean Software while the SNES and PC DOS versions were that of Gremlin Interactive, and the portable console versions were of Black Pearl Software. It is the direct sequel to Desert Strike and is the second installment in the Strike series. The game is a helicopter-based shoot 'em up, mixing action and strategy. The plot concerns two villains intent on destroying Washington, D.C. The player must use the helicopter and occasionally other vehicles to thwart their plans.

Taz Mania is the name of several video games based on the Taz-Mania cartoon series. A 2D side-scrolling platform/adventure video game developed by Recreational Brainware and published by Sega on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis in 1992. Different games were also developed by NuFX and released on the Game Gear and by Technical Wave on the Master System. The game is based on the sport of association football and puts the player in control of a football team in modes of play such as exhibitions, tournaments, and seasons. It is named after and endorsed by former Brazilian footballer Pelé, who also provided input on the game's design.
