The International Wushu Federation (IWUF) is an international sport organization and is the governing body for wushu in all its forms worldwide. The IWUF is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and is also a member of the ARISF, GAISF, FISU, IWGA, and the ISF.
Wushu (武術), or Kung fu, is a competitive Chinese martial art. It integrates concepts and forms from various traditional and modern Chinese martial arts, including Shaolin kung fu, Tai chi and Wudangquan. "Wushu" is the Chinese term for "martial arts", reflecting the art's goal as a compilation and standardization of various styles.
Lindswell, also known as Lindswell Kwok is an Indonesian former taijiquan athlete. She is one of the most renowned wushu taolu athletes of all time. In 2013, she was named Best Athlete by the Indonesian Olympic Committee, and received the Dharma Sports Medal, the highest sports award in Indonesia. For her achievements, Indonesian media dubbed her as the "queen of wushu".
Zahra Kiani is a wushu taolu athlete from Iran. She is a four-time world junior champion and a silver medalist at the Asian Games.

Iran competed in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September 2018. Iran has competed at the Asian Games since the first event in 1951 Delhi, and the best achievement was in 1974, when the country hosted the event in Tehran, by ranked second with the acquisition of 36 gold, 28 silver and 17 bronze medals. At the latest edition in Incheon, the country wrapped up its campaign with 57 medals in all - 21 gold, 18 silver and 18 bronze.

Khalid Hotak is an Afghan wushu practitioner. He represented Afghanistan and won a bronze medal at the 2018 Asian Games in the men's sanda 65 kg category. In 2023, Hotak won a bronze medal at the 2022 Asian Games in the men's sanda 70 kg category. He works as a sports advisor in Afghanistan.
Edgar Xavier Marvelo is a wushu taolu athlete from Indonesia. He is a three-time world champion as well as a medalist at the Asian Games and the SEA Games.
Agatha Chrystenzen Fernandez Wong is a Filipino wushu athlete who has won medals for the Philippines at the Southeast Asian Games, Asian Games, and the World Wushu Championships.
Geng Xiaoling is a retired professional wushu taolu athlete who represented Hong Kong. She is one of the most renowned taolu athletes of all time, having been a five-time world champion and a gold medallist at the Asian Games and the East Asian Games.
Sun Peiyuan is a professional wushu taolu athlete from China. He is regarded as one of the most dominant wushu athletes of the 2010s, having been the first athlete to achieve the new version of the "grand slam".
Lee Ha-sung is a wushu taolu athlete from South Korea. He was a world champion in 2015 and gold medalist at the Asian Games in 2014.
The Asian Wushu Championships is a continental wushu championship hosted by the Wushu Federation of Asia (WFA), the official continental representative to the International Wushu Federation. The competition is open to the 37 member nations of the WFA and their respective national teams. Unlike other continental wushu competitions which are held every two years, the Asian Wushu Championships is held every four years to make way for wushu at the Asian Games.
Ng Siu Ching is a former wushu taolu athlete from Hong Kong. She achieved an extensive medal record in international competition, becoming the first taolu athlete to win five gold medals at the World Wushu Championships. Ng also had multiple victories in the Asian Games and the East Asian Games.

Juwita Niza Wasni is a retired wushu taolu athlete from Indonesia. She is a two-time world champion, double gold medalist at the Taolu World Cup, and a four-time medalist at the SEA Games. At the 2014 Asian Games, she won the gold medal in women's nanquan due to the doping disqualification of Malaysian athlete Tai Cheau Xuen.
