X Factor is a Danish television music competition to find new singing talent. This season will be the first season broadcast on TV2. [1] after DR1 announced in August 16, 2017 that Season 11 is the final season broadcast on their channel. [2]
X Factor is the Danish version of The X Factor, a show originating in the United Kingdom and is created by talent show judge and record and TV producer Simon Cowell. There has been eleven winners to date: Martin Hoberg Hedegaard, Linda Andrews, Thomas Ring Petersen, Sarah Skaalum Jørgensen, Ida Østergaard Madsen, Chresten Falck Damborg, Anthony Jasmin, Emilie Esther, Embrace, Morten Nørgaard and Place on Earth.
Sofie Linde Lauridsen returned as the main host of the show for the 4th time. Thomas Blachman returned as a judge for the 11th time while Remee and Sanne Salomonsen decided to quit. Oh Land and Ankerstjerne replaced them as judges.
Auditions took place in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense.
Copenhagen is the capital and most populous city of Denmark. As of July 2018, the city has a population of 777,218. Aarhus is the second-largest city in Denmark and the seat of Aarhus municipality. The inner urban area contains 273,077 inhabitants and the municipal population is 340,421. Aarhus is the central city in Business Region Aarhus and in the East Jutland metropolitan area, which had a total population of 1.378 million in 2016.
Odense is the third-largest city in Denmark. It has a population of 178,210 as of January 2016, and is the main city of the island of Funen. By road, Odense is located 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of Svendborg, 144 kilometres (89 mi) to the south of Aarhus and 167 kilometres (104 mi) to the southwest of Copenhagen. The city is the seat of Odense Municipality and was the seat of Odense County until 1970, and Funen County from 1970 until 1 January 2007, when Funen County became part of the Region of Southern Denmark. Odense has close associations with Hans Christian Andersen who is remembered above all for his fairy tales. He was born in the city in 1805 and spent his childhood years there.

Thomas Blachman is a Danish jazz musician, composer and five times Danish Music Awards-winner. He is most famous as a judge in the Danish version of X Factor, where he fulfils the "hard but honest" role that Simon Cowell has in the UK version.
X Factor was a Dutch television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions. It is shown Friday evenings on the RTL4 Network in the Netherlands. The first series of the show aired from October 2006 through to February 2007, while the second series of the show aired from January through to May 2009. The show is produced by Blue Circle and is currently sponsored by Fiat. The "X Factor" of the title refers to the undefinable "something" that makes for star quality.

Anthony Jasmin sometimes Anthony & Jasmin is a Danish pop duo who on 28 March 2014 won season 7 of the Danish version of X Factor in 2014. After Anthony Lopez and Jasmin Dahl were eliminated as solo artists at bootcamp, the duo was formed and mentored by Thomas Blachman. They reached the final and won against Lucy, mentored by Remee, becoming the first ever duo or group formation to win the Danish title.
