Dansk Melodi Grand Prix is an annual music competition organised by the Danish public broadcaster Danmarks Radio (DR) since 1957, which determines the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. The festival has produced three Eurovision winners and fourteen top-five placings.

The weekly Danish singles chart Track Top-40 combines the 40 best-selling tracks from legal music downloads and the sales of music singles on either CD or vinyl. The data are collected by Nielsen Music Control, who also compile the chart on behalf of IFPI.
Martin Hoberg Hedegaard or Saveus is a Danish singer, songwriter and record producer. In 2016, he wrote and produced the EP Will Somebody Save Us and in 2018 he released his first full-length album, Neuro. The same year, he opened the Orange Stage at the Roskilde Festival.

Brandon Beal is an American singer, songwriter and producer. He gained recognition through his single "Twerk It Like Miley" which went viral through the app Dubsmash, and charted in 14 different countries including Denmark, Indonesia, and Malaysia. He later released the single "Golden" that featured Lukas Graham which also reached number 1 in Denmark, and charted in Sweden, Norway, and Germany. He also hit the number 1 spot in Denmark with the Christopher song "CPH Girls" that featured him.
Christopher Lund Nissen is a Danish singer from Copenhagen, signed to EMI Denmark. In November 2012, he won an award at the Danish Music Awards 2012. He was awarded New Thinker of the Year, given by Spotify as an innovation prize. Christopher released five albums, the debut Colours (2012), followed by Told You So (2014), Closer (2016), Under the Surface (2019) and My Blood (2021). Christopher's songs include "Against the Odds, "Nothing in Common", "Told You So", "CPH Girls" and "I Won't Let You Down".

Kian Rosenberg Larsson, known professionally as Gilli, is a Danish rapper, singer, and songwriter from Rødovre, Capital Region. After initially growing out of the B.O.C. rap collective and releasing several singles between 2011 and 2013, also as a feature artist, Gilli rose to mainstream prominence in 2014 following the release of the musical drama film Ækte vare (2014), playing a fictionalized version of himself.

Lukas Graham is the second studio album by Danish band Lukas Graham. It was released in Denmark on 16 June 2015 through Copenhagen Records. The album includes the singles "Mama Said", "Strip No More" and "7 Years". A version of the album incorporating "Drunk in the Morning" and "Better Than Yourself " from the band's debut was released internationally on 1 April 2016, serving as the band's debut album in the United States and United Kingdom.

MellemFingaMuzik is a Danish hip-hop group, consisting of rappers Stepz and Branco. The duo started publishing materials in late 2011, after which they joined the Danish record label HideOut that also had signed up rappers Jooks and Sivas. When HideOut closed, MellemFingaMuzik started a collaboration with the newly formed label Grounded. They also teamed up with Benny Jamz and Gilli, from the B.O.C. collective, and all formed the common front and collective known as the Molotov Movement.
"Øve os på hinanden" is a song by Danish music duo Fyr & Flamme that represented Denmark in the in Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam. It is the first time since 1997 that a song sung entirely in Danish represented the country at Eurovision. The song topped the Danish singles chart, being the first Danish Eurovision entry to do so since "Only Teardrops" in 2013.
