"Heaven Is a Place on Earth" is a single by American singer Belinda Carlisle from her second studio album, Heaven on Earth (1987). Written by Rick Nowels and Ellen Shipley, the song was released as the lead single from the Heaven on Earth album on September 14, 1987, and it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 on December 5, 1987, becoming Carlisle's only US chart-topper to date. A month later it peaked at number one in the United Kingdom, where it held the top spot of the UK Singles Chart for two weeks. In Australia it peaked at number 2. It is considered to be Carlisle's signature song.
X Factor is the Danish version of British TV show The X Factor, created by Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. For the first eleven seasons, the show was broadcast on DR1 before moving to TV 2 from the twelfth season onwards. There have been sixteen winners to date, most notable are Martin Hoberg Hedegaard (2008), Thomas Ring Petersen (2010), Anthony Jasmin (2014), Place on Earth (2018) & Mads Moldt (2022).
Keith Semple is a Northern Irish singer and musician. He originally had his own band Keith Semple Band. In 2002, he took part and was a winner in Popstars: The Rivals, consequently becoming a member of the boyband One True Voice (OTV). After the split-up of the band, Semple had a solo career before joining the Chicago-based rock band 7th Heaven in 2006 as their lead singer. In 2010, he took a shot at the ninth season of American Idol but lost his "golden ticket" place due to his legal status and residency considerations. In October 2012, Semple announced he would be leaving 7th Heaven to pursue his original music and announced the formation of his new band, SEMPLE. In September 2015, he auditioned for season 9 of The Voice as part of Team Adam. He was eliminated from competition after the top 24 round. In 2016, he formed the progressive rock band, The Cyberiam, where he serves as lead singer and guitarist.
Anis Basim Moujahid, better known as Basim, is a Danish pop singer and songwriter. He is of Moroccan origin. He has released two albums, Alt det jeg ville have sagt in 2008 and Befri dig selv in 2009. Basim represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 on home ground in Copenhagen, Denmark with the song "Cliche Love Song". The following year he was the Danish spokesperson at Eurovision.

X Factor is a Danish television music competition to find new singing talent. Sofie Linde Lauridsen returned to host the show for the 3rd time. Thomas Blachman and Remee returned for their respective tenth and eight series as judges and were joined by a new judge Sanne Salomonsen who replaced Mette Lindberg. This season mark the end of X Factor Denmark on DR, followed an announcement made by DR on August 16. On December 21, 2017, TV2 announced the show would be continued the 12th series would be broadcast by them. Place on Earth won the competition and became the 3rd group to win the competition and Thomas Blachman became the winning mentor for the second time.
Place on Earth is a Danish trio consisting of Mille Katharina Hassenkam, Kathrine Ørnfelt and Andreas Falch Kruse. They became the winners of the eleventh season of the Danish version of the X Factor. They were put together at bootcamp by Thomas Blachman.
