On the final held on 23 March 2012, she finished as the runner-up, with 38.3% of the public vote, behind Ida, who carried the title with 61.7%. She was signed to Sony Music, and her debut single "Efter dig" reached No. 3 in the Danish Singles Chart.

It was planned to be released on 1 December 2023 through Ministry of Sound, but it was ultimately scrapped due to multiple delays caused by a track not getting sample clearance. The album was slated to feature guest appearances from Talia Mar, David Guetta, Sam Ryder, Becky Hill, Gabry Ponte, Alex Gaudino, James Arthur, Rita Ora, Alok, Ellie Goulding, MNEK, Mae Muller, Caity Baser and Stefflon Don.
