X Factor is a Danish television music competition to find new singing talent. Sofie Linde Ingversen returned to host the show for the 3rd time. [1] [2] Thomas Blachman and Remee returned for their respective tenth and eight series as judges and were joined by a new judge Sanne Salomonsen who replaced Mette Lindberg. [3] This season mark the end of X Factor Denmark on DR, followed an announcement made by DR on August 16. On December 21, 2017, TV2 announced the show would be continued the 12th series would be broadcast by them. Place on Earth won the competition and became the 3rd group to win the competition and Thomas Blachman became the winning mentor for the second time.
Sofie Linde Lauridsen returned as the host for the 3rd time and Thomas Blachman and Remee also returned, joined by a new Judge Sanne Salomonsen who replaced Mette Lindberg. On February 17 Sofie Linde became a mother after she gave birth to her first child, a daughter, named Trine. Therefore, she cannot be ready for the live shows on February 23 she will be temporarily replaced by her husband Joakim Linde Ingversen until shes ready to return again within the next 7 weeks of live shows. Auditions took place in Copenhagen and Aarhus.
The 5 Chair Challenge returned for season 11. Sanne Salomonsen mentored the 15-22s, Remee has the Over 23s and Thomas Blachman has the Groups.

Laura was originally eliminated from the 5 Chair Challenge but Remee later regretted his decision. Therefore, he brought Laura back in the competition and therefore, 16 acts would be competing in Bootcamp. [5]

Susanne Salomonsen is a Danish singer and songwriter, better known under the nickname Sanne Salomonsen. Salomonsen joined a local rock band in 1967, and her first solo album was released in 1973. She became one of the most famous singers in Denmark during the 1980s. Various songs sung or written by her have been on the local charts.
Anne Kristine Linnet is a Danish singer, musician and songwriter. She has released a number of solo albums and has also been a member of the bands Tears, Shit & Chanel, Anne Linnet Band, Marquis de Sade and Bitch Boys. Anne Linnet is one of a small group of Danish songstresses who have been popular for multiple decades. She is, and has been for five decades, a distinctive figure on the Danish music scene and is known for her honest musical phrasings, memorable and sometimes feministic lyrics, and renewal through explorations into a number of music styles.
Remee Sigvardt Jackman, better known as Remee, is a Danish rapper, songwriter, producer and composer.
X Factor is the Danish version of British TV show The X Factor, created by Simon Cowell. The show premiered on 4 January 2008. For the first eleven seasons, the show was broadcast on DR1 before moving to TV 2 from the twelfth season onwards. He has released one album and his single "Supernova" has charted in Denmark, becoming the theme song for season 10 of the Danish version of the reality television series Paradise Hotel.
