Zhuzhou, formerly Jianning (建宁), is a prefecture-level city of Hunan Province, China, straddling the Xiang River southeast of the provincial capital, Changsha, and bordering Jiangxi province to the east. It is part of the "Greater Changsha Metropolitan Region, also known as Changzhutan Golden Triangle". The city has jurisdiction over five counties and four districts, and covers an area of 11,420 km2 (4,410 sq mi).
Qinghe railway station is a railway station in Beijing. The old station began its construction in 1905 and opened in 1906. The station closed on October 31, 2016, to be rebuilt into a new high-speed railway station on the Beijing-Baotou Passenger-Dedicated Line opened on December 30, 2019.
Xiangtan County is a county in Hunan Province, China; it is under the administration of Xiangtan City. Located on the east central Hunan, the county is bordered to the north by Yuhu, Yuetang Districts and Xiangtan City, to the west by Xiangxiang City and Shuangfeng County, to the south by Hengshan and Hengdong Counties, to the east by Zhuzhou County and Tianyuan District of Zhuzhou City. Xiangtan County covers 2,132.80 km2 (823.48 sq mi), as of 2015, it had a registered population of 979,600 and a resident population of 857,200. The county has 14 towns and 3 townships under its jurisdiction, the county seat is at Yisuhe Town (易俗河镇).

Changzhutan or Chang-Zhu-Tan, also Greater Changsha Metropolitan Region or Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster is a city cluster in Hunan province, China, consisting of the provincial capital, Changsha and two other prefecture-level cities: Xiangtan and Zhuzhou; it is the main heavily urbanized region of Hunan and covers an area of 28,087 km2 (10,844 sq mi).
The Changsha Metro is a rapid transit system in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan province in China. The first operational line, Line 2, commenced service on April 29, 2014, making Changsha the 18th city in mainland China to open a rapid transit system.
The Shimen–Changsha railway or Shichang railway, is a double-track, electrified railroad in Hunan Province of southern China between Shimen and Changsha. The line was originally built from 1994 to 1998 as a single track railroad with a total length of 266 km (165 mi). In 2009, construction began on a second track of 279 km (173 mi) and electrification of the entire line. The line connects Shimen, Yiyang and Changsha. The Shimen–Yiyang section forms part of the Luoyang–Zhanjiang railway Corridor.
Hengyang–Liuzhou intercity railway is a high-speed railway in South-Western China, connecting Hunan and Guangxi provinces. It provides a high-speed connection with the Beijing–Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong High-Speed Railway and links with the Guangxi capital of Nanning via the Liuzhou–Nanning intercity railway. It gives a direct high-speed services from Beijing to Guilin in only 10 hours.

Changsha–Zhuzhou–Xiangtan intercity railway or Changzhutan intercity railway, is a higher-speed regional railway in Hunan, China. It connects the provincial capital Changsha with Zhuzhou and Xiangtan. The line was opened to traffic on 26 December 2016. A northwestern extension to Changsha West railway station opened on 26 December 2017. The maximum operating speed is expected to be up to 200 km/h (124 mph), travelling time between the three cities will be shortened to less than 30 minutes. The line uses China Railways CRH6F regional rail trains.
Kaifusi station is a railway and subway station in Kaifu District, Changsha, Hunan, China, operated by CR Guangzhou and Changsha Metro. It opened its services on June 28, 2016. Kaifusi/ Temple Station offers interchange between Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan intercity railway and Changsha Metro Line 1. The metro station opened on 28 June 2016 while the railway station opened on 26 December 2017.
Huanglong River, historically known as Zengzigang River, is a right-bank tributary of Xiang River in Wangcheng District and the northernmost one of right-bank tributaries in Changsha section of Xiang River in Hunan, China. It has a length of 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) with a rough drainage basin area of 50 square kilometres (19 sq mi). Huanglong River rises in Shiziling of Chating Town, flows through Shiziling, Yangjiaping, Dongcheng and Dalong four villages of Chating Town and Huashi Village of Tongguan Subdistrict, merging into Xiang River at Zengzigang Mouth located between Dalong and Huashi villages.

Changsha West railway station is a railway station in Wangcheng District, Changsha, Hunan, China. The station is currently undergoing expansion, and is expected to reopen in 2025. As of September 2022, trains on Changsha–Zhuzhou–Xiangtan intercity railway and Changde–Yiyang–Changsha high-speed railway pass through this station to through service to each other, without stopping here.
Zhuzhou railway station is a railway station in Lusong District, Zhuzhou, Hunan, China. It is located at the intersection of the Beijing–Guangzhou railway and the Shanghai–Kunming railway, and is also an intermediate stop on the Changsha–Zhuzhou–Xiangtan intercity railway.
Xihuan Line is an urban rail transit line currently in operation of Changsha Metro. This line connects Xiangtan North Railway Station in Xiangtan City, Hunan Province, China, and Shantang station of Line 3. The first phase of the project has a total length of 17.29 kilometers (10.74 mi) and a total of 8 stations. It opened on June 28, 2023. This line is also the first cross-city urban rail transit line in Hunan Province.
