Yeh Chun-chang (born 25 October 1972) is a Taiwanese baseball player who competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics and at the 2008 Summer Olympics. [1]
Yeh was born in Shilin District,Taipei,and attended Taipei Municipal Shilin Elementary School.
The Republic of China (Taiwan) competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich for the last time as the "Republic of China". The ROC would not return to the Olympics until 1984 and under the name "Chinese Taipei" due to objections by the People's Republic of China over the political status of Taiwan.
The Republic of China (ROC) competed as Chinese Taipei at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles,California for the first time. The change in name was a result of the Nagoya Resolution,adopted by the International Olympic Committee in 1979 after the objections raised in the 1970s by the People's Republic of China (PRC) over the political status of Taiwan. The IOC restrictions over the ROC name led to the ROC boycott of the Summer Games of 1976 and 1980;the PRC boycotted the Olympic Games prior to the adoption of the resolution. The 1984 Summer Games Chinese Taipei team included 31 men and 7 women,taking part in 40 events in 12 sports. In weightlifting,athletes both from Chinese Taipei and the People's Republic of China won medals.
Chang Chih-chia was a Taiwanese baseball player who competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics and in the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Kuo Hsing-chun is a Taiwanese Amis weightlifter,Olympic gold medalist,five time world champion,two time Universiade champion,Asian Games champion,and five time Asian champion,competing in the 58 kg division until 2018 and 59 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. She has set 11 senior world records in her career.
Lin Yi-chun is a Taiwanese sport shooter. She won two medals,gold and silver,in the women's double trap,at the 2001 and 2002 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Cairo,Egypt and Lahti,Finland,respectively. She also captured a bronze medal in the women's trap at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha,Qatar,accumulating a score of 80 clay pigeons and a bonus of 1 target from a shoot-off. She won gold at the 2023 ISSF World Shooting Championships in trap.

Feng Chun-kai is a Taiwanese professional road and track cyclist. He represented his nation Taiwan,as a 19-year-old,at the 2008 Summer Olympics and later won numerous medals in track cycling,specifically in the men's points race and individual pursuit,at the Asian Championships. Feng has also claimed five Taiwanese national titles in road cycling,and a prestigious gold medal at the 2013 East Asian Games in Tianjin

She subsequently joined the New Power Party and won a seat on the Legislative Yuan in 2020. Currently,she serves as NPP party chairperson since March of 2023.
Yang Yun-pin was a Taiwanese writer and historian. His pen name,Yun-pin (雲萍),comes from the fact that he published an article in the Taiwanese newspaper The Taiwan Minpao (臺灣民報) in 1924 under the name "Yun Ping Sheng of Shilin" (士林雲萍生). He was one of the key figures in the Taiwanese New Literature Movement.
