The Young Generation of Indonesian Development (Indonesian : Generasi Muda Pembangunan Indonesia), abbreviated as GMPI, is the youth wing of the United Development Party (PPP). The movement is one of the three youth wings of the party, the others being the Kaaba Youth Force and the Kaaba Youth Movement.
The organization was founded as a result of the meetings of Islamic youth figures from the United Youth Generation on 18 October 1993. The meeting was initiated by the Djafar Badjeber from Jakarta and Husni Malik from North Sumatra, the respective chairmen of the United Youth Generation in their regions. They invited chairmen of the United Youth branches and United Development Party figures from all over Indonesia. Among the attendees were Ismail Hasan Metareum, Ali Thaher Parasong, Saleh Khalid, Yudo Paripurno, Hamzah Haz, Syafi’i Nongke, Irgan Chairil Mahfudz, and Mansyur K. [1]
The meeting officially formed the GMPI on the same day, with a declaration at Wisma DPR RI. The declaration was signed by 37 figures from 18 different provinces of Indonesia. [1]
The organization officially registered itself with an establishment act on 2 January 2004. [2]
As of 2014, the organization has its provincial branches in Riau, Lampung, Banten, Jakarta, Central Java, East Java, East Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi, and South Sulawesi. [3]

The Party of Functional Groups, often known by its abbreviation Golkar, is a political party in Indonesia. It was founded as the Joint Secretariat of Functional Groups in 1964, and participated for the first time in national elections in 1971 as Functional Groups. Golkar was not officially a political party until 1999, when it was required to become a party in order to contest elections.
The Proclamation of Indonesian Independence was read at 10:00 am on Friday, 17 August 1945. The declaration marked the start of the diplomatic and armed resistance of the Indonesian National Revolution, fighting against the forces of the Netherlands and pro-Dutch civilians, until the latter officially acknowledged Indonesia's independence in 1949. The document was signed by Sukarno and Mohammad Hatta, who were appointed president and vice-president respectively the following day.

Many Indonesian hip hop groups rhyme in the Indonesian language, but there are also groups that rhyme in English. Variously, songs often combine formal Indonesian with street slang, youth code, regionally colored pronunciations, and even expressions from regional languages.

The Indonesian Basketball League is the preeminent men's professional basketball league in Indonesia, founded by Indonesian Basketball Association (Perbasi) in 2003. From 2010 to 2015 it was known as the National Basketball League (NBL) and organised by DBL Indonesia. In 2016, PT Bola Basket Indonesia acquired Starting 5 and after that PT Bola Basket Indonesia assigned by PP Perbasi to organised the league.

Ir. Freddy Jaques Inkiriwang was a former Indonesian Minister of Industry in the Djuanda Cabinet. He received an Ingenieur degree in electrical engineering from at the Delft University of Technology in 1937. After the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence, Inkiriwang was involved in the formation of the state electricity company and the independence struggle in Sulawesi. After the establishment of the Bureau of Electricity and Gas on 27 October 1945, Inkiriwang was assigned to head the West Java region. He was also appointed as head of development in the Sulawesi Commissariat organization in Jakarta to assist the struggle in Sulawesi.
Andi Alfian Mallarangeng is an Indonesian politician who served as Minister of Youth and Sports at Second United Indonesia Cabinet. He also served as presidential spokesman for President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. In 2012, he resigned as minister due to corruption charges against him.
The Youth Pledge Museum is a historic museum of the independence struggle of the Republic of Indonesia. It is located in Jalan Kramat Raya No.106, Central Jakarta and managed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. This museum is open for public, every Tuesday until Friday from 08.00 until 15.00, every Saturday and Sunday from 08.00-14.00 Western Indonesian Time, and every Monday and national holiday, this museum is closed for public.
The Kaaba Youth Movement, abbreviated as GPK, is the youth wing of United Development Party (PPP). The movement is one of the three youth wings of the party, the other being Kaaba Youth Forces and the Young Generation of Indonesian Development. The movement was frequently used by the officials of the United Development Party as unofficial bodyguards for them and their family.

Regional Development Banks are a type of bank in Indonesia that is established and owned by the local provincial government. Its purpose is to boost regional development and provide initial capital to the province that private banks would not risk giving, as well as giving basic financial services for the general provincial population. It was first established on 25 March 1960 and regulated under Law Number 13 of 1962 and Law Number 16 of 1999 Decree from the Ministry of Home Affairs. According to the law, the shares of Regional Development Banks are divided into two; priority shares and regular shares. Priority shares ownership must be on the hand of provincial governments, while regular shares can be owned by second-level administrative governments under the respective provinces and individuals. The director of these banks are appointed directly by the governor of the respective provinces and hold the office for 4 years. Provincial governors also have the ability to remove directors from the office for several reasons such as incompetency and corruption, with recommendation from local provincial parliaments. If there is more than one director, the law also states that they are not allowed to be closely related and should not occupy other governmental positions unless recommended. As of 2021, there are 26 regional development banks according to the Financial Services Authority. Not all provinces currently have their own bank, especially newly established provinces such as North Kalimantan and the Bangka Belitung Islands, which both still share ownership of various bank companies with their respective parent provinces.

Jong Batak Bond, sometimes simply called Jong Batak, was a short-lived but influential Batak intellectual organization founded in Batavia, Dutch East Indies in December 1925. Like Budi Utomo, Jong Java and other such organizations, its members consisted of native Indonesian students in Dutch-language schools interested in advancing their ethnic group and Indonesian nationalism at the same time. Notable members of the group include Amir Sjarifuddin Harahap, Todung Sutan Gunung Mulia Harahap, Sanusi Pane, Saleh Said Harahap and Arifin Harahap.
