"Your New Cuckoo", "Lovefool", and "Hey! Get Out of My Way" were written by Nina Persson and Peter Svensson; "Country Hell", "I Figured Out", "After All", "Rise and Shine", and "Sick and Tired" were written by Magnus Sveningsson and Svensson; "Carnival" was written by Persson, Sveningsson, and Svensson.

The Cardigans are a Swedish pop rock band formed in Jönköping, Sweden, in 1992 by guitarist Peter Svensson, bassist Magnus Sveningsson, drummer Bengt Lagerberg, keyboardist Lars-Olof Johansson and lead singer Nina Persson. Post-hiatus shows since 2012 have been with Oskar Humlebo on guitar instead of Svensson.
"Natural" is a song by English pop group S Club 7. It was released on 11 September 2000 as the second single from their second studio album 7 (2000). The track was written by Norma Ray, Jean Fredenucci, Cathy Dennis, and Andrew Todd. It is an English cover of Ray's 1999 hit "Tous les maux d'amour", both of which interpolate Gabriel Fauré's Pavane. Upon the song's release, it peaked at number three in the United Kingdom and reached the top 50 in Australia, Germany, and Ireland.
"Burning Down the House" is a song by new wave band Talking Heads, released in July 1983 as the first single from their fifth studio album Speaking in Tongues.
"Never Gonna Leave Your Side" is the fifth single released from New Zealand-British singer Daniel Bedingfield's first album, Gotta Get thru This (2002). Nicky Wire, bassist of the Manic Street Preachers, thinks this song has the best lyrics. The music video was directed by Amir Chamdin.
"Lovefool" is a song written by Peter Svensson and Nina Persson for Swedish rock band the Cardigans' third studio album, First Band on the Moon (1996). It was released as the album's lead single on 10 August 1996 in Japan. In the United States, the song was serviced to radio two days later. A few months after its release, the track was included in the Baz Luhrmann film Romeo + Juliet, helping the song gain international recognition.
"Raincloud" is a song by British group Lighthouse Family, released as the duo's first single from their second studio album, Postcards from Heaven (1997). The song was produced by Mike Peden. "My Favourite Game" is an alternative rock song written by Peter Svensson and Nina Persson for Swedish band the Cardigans' fourth studio album, Gran Turismo (1998). The song is the album's eighth track and was released as its first single on 14 September 1998. Lyrically, it is about a failing relationship and the attempt made to better the significant other or save people from themselves. "My Favourite Game" found minor international success, reaching number three in Sweden and number 14 in the UK. It also charted within the top 40 in several European countries and New Zealand. While it failed to chart on the US Billboard Hot 100 and its radio counterpart, it peaked at number 16 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.
"Coming Home Now" is the sixth single taken from Irish boy band Boyzone's debut album, Said and Done (1995). It was their only single to be written solely by the group, without any outside co-writers. Released in February 1996 by Polydor, it peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Boyzone's only solo single to miss the top three prior to their initial split in 2000. The song has received a silver sales certification for shipping 200,000 units in the UK. In Ireland, the song broke their consecutive string of four number-one hits by reaching number two.
"So Good" is a song recorded by Irish boyband Boyzone and released in July 1995 as the fourth single from the band's debut album, Said and Done (1995). The song became Boyzone's third consecutive No. 1 single in Ireland entered the UK Singles Chart at No. 3.
"It Takes More" is a song by British rapper Ms. Dynamite, released as her debut single from her first album, A Little Deeper (2002), on 20 May 2002. It reached number seven on the UK Singles Chart, her second-highest-charting song on the chart. The melody is taken from the song "Chitarra romana", a popular Roman song written by C. Bruno and Eldo Di Lazzaro in 1934.
"If You Could Only See" is a song by American rock band Tonic from their debut studio album Lemon Parade (1996). It was released to radio as the third and final single from the album on March 18, 1997, by Polydor Records. Frontman Emerson Hart is the sole writer of the song, whilst production on the song was helmed by Jack Joseph Puig. According to Hart, the song was written as a result of his family disowning him due to their disapproval of Hart's relationship with an older woman. The song is Tonic's most successful, becoming a hit in several countries, and has been described as "rock radio's most played song of 1997."
"Guiding Star" is the seventh single by Liverpool Britpop band Cast, fronted by ex La's bassist John Power. Released on 16 June 1997 as the second single from Cast's second studio album, Mother Nature Calls (1997), the song reached number nine on the UK Singles Chart.
