Yu Seung-jin (born 20 January 1969) is a former South Korean field hockey player and currently the head coach of the China national field hockey team. He competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics and the 1996 Summer Olympics. [1] He is the head coach of Monarch Mart Padma.

Since 2018, he counts among the ITTF Foundation Ambassadors, promoting sport for development and peace.

The last victory made him the first Dutch sportsperson in history to win Olympic gold both as a player and as a coach.

Monarch Padma is a professional franchise field hockey team based in Faridpur, representing the Padma Division. It participates in the Hockey Champions Trophy Bangladesh. Founded in 2022, the team is owned by Shakib Al Hasan. They are one of the six founding members of the country's first ever franchise hockey league. Yu Seung-jin is the current head coach of the team.
