Yun Yong-chol (born 28 February 1968) is a North Korean boxer. He competed in the men's lightweight event at the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1]

Kim placed sixth in this event,as he successfully lifted 146 kg in the single-motion snatch,and hoisted 180 kg in the two-part,shoulder-to-overhead clean and jerk,for a total of 326 kg.

Yun represented North Korea at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London,where he competed in the men's 55 kg class. He received a bye for the preliminary round of sixteen match,before losing to South Korea's Choi Gyu-Jin,who was able to score three points in two straight periods,leaving Yun without a single point.
