Zaeeropsis lepida is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was first described by Ernst Friedrich Germar in 1848 as Anaesthetis lepida. [1] [2] It is known from Australia. [3] The Australian Faunal Directory recognises Rhytophora lepida as the accepted name for this species. [1]

Ernst Friedrich Germar

Ernst Friedrich Germar was a German professor and director of the Mineralogical Museum at Halle. As well as being a mineralogist he was interested in entomology and particularly in the Coleoptera and Hemiptera. He monographed the heteropteran family Scutelleridae.
