Zagreb Film Festival (ZFF) is an annual film festival held since 2003 in Zagreb, Croatia. Focusing on promoting young and upcoming filmmaker, the festival is widely considered to be one of the most important and influential cultural events in Croatia. [1] [2] [3] [4] It also regularly features several international programmes for the filmmaker's first or second films made. [5]

Contents

Each festival edition usually features three international competition programs (for feature films, short films, and documentary films), and one short film competition program for Croatian filmmakers. In addition, the festival often hosts non-competitive screenings, such as selections of children's films or screenings of debut works made by established film directors.

Since 2006 the festival's main award is called Golden Pram. From 2003 to 2005 the main award was called Golden Bib. The 22nd edition of the Festival will take place from 4 to 10 November 2024. [6]

Riga International Short Film Festival 2ANNAS is the only annual short film festival in Latvia. Founded by its current director Viesturs Grazdanovics in 1996, the festival has since taken place every year in late May, until in 2013 it moved to late October in Riga (Latvia). Screenings take place in several film theaters as well as popular alternative entertainment venues and non-conventional screening venues. Originally created to promote short film, the festival has widened its range by adding a feature film competition program in its 2014 selection.

The Forest City Film Festival is a film festival located in London, Ontario, Canada. Founded in 2016, the Forest City Film Festival centres on exhibiting the work of filmmakers from Southwestern Ontario in juried competition for features, shorts, documentaries, short animations and other categories, although it also screens a selection of other Canadian and International films out of competition.

Calcutta International Cult Films Festival is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Organization and an IMDb Award Qualifying International Film Festival. It is an annual major award screening event that takes place in Kolkata and features cult films from around the world. The CICFF was started in 2016.
