Zahra Lachguer (born 8 June 1978) is a Moroccan former track and field athlete who specialised in the 400 metres hurdles. She was the gold medallist in the event at the 2002 African Championships in Athletics. [1]

She has won medals across several disciplines at the Pan Arab Games, including three 400 m hurdles medals, a javelin throw medal and a heptathlon medal. She was a 1999 Pan Arab Games gold medallist in the hurdles. [2]

Lachguer represented Africa at the 2002 IAAF World Cup. [3] She also won a bronze medal at the 2004 African Championships in Athletics. [4]

She has won national titles in the 400 metres sprint, 400 m hurdles, javelin and heptathlon. [5]

She is a four-time Commonwealth Games gold medallist, winning the 400m hurdles title in 2018 and 2022, and the 4 × 400 m relay in 2014 and 2018. Selloane Joyce Tsoaeli is a female track and field athlete from Lesotho who competes in the heptathlon and the high jump. She was the high jump gold medallist at the 2010 African Championships in Athletics and was a heptathlon bronze medallist at the same event. She also took heptathlon bronze at the 2011 All-Africa Games.

Abderrahmane Hammadi is an Algerian former track and field athlete who specialised in the 400 metres hurdles. He competed internationally for Algeria between 2003 and 2011.
