Zentveld & Oomen is a Dutch DJ duo consisting of Hugo Zentveld (a.k.a. DJ Renegade) and Aldwin Oomen, [1] who are behind a number of dance production projects, including Angel City, Boombastic, and Nightbreed.
Angel City is a dance project by Zentveld and Oomen, led by British recording artist Lara McAllen. The majority of their songs are dance covers. The group were signed to Ministry of Sound record labels Boss Records and Data Records. Their hit "Do You Know (I Go Crazy)" sampled the instrumental track "Children" by Robert Miles, as well as the lyrics from "Do You Know" by Michelle Gayle. It was their biggest hit, peaking at number eight on the UK Singles Chart. [1] Their hit "Touch Me" sampled the lyrics from Cathy Dennis' hit, "Touch Me (All Night Long)". Their fourth song, "Sunrise", was a cover of a track of the same name by Ashiva, and was a Top 10 hit in the UK and across Europe in February 2005. One of the co-writers of this tune, S. Shawcross also co-wrote "City Lights" (which featured on the Angel City album) and has since become an artist in her own right, performing under the name Sarah Lucie Shaw. McAllen left the group in 2005 to pursue a solo career. However, she re-joined Angel City in late 2006, and featured in the band's 2007 single, "24/7". In July 2010, a promo clip of a new song called "How Do You Sleep" was posted on Dance Nation's website.

Florian Cloud de Bounevialle Armstrong, known professionally as Dido, is an English singer and songwriter. She attained international success with her debut album No Angel (1999). Hit singles from the album include "Here with Me" and "Thank You". It sold over 21 million copies worldwide, and it won her several awards, including two Brit Awards; additionally, she won Best British Album and Best British Female as well as the MTV Europe Music Award for Best New Act. The first verse of "Thank You" is sampled in "Stan", a critically acclaimed collaboration with American rapper Eminem. Her next album, Life for Rent (2003), continued her success with the hit singles "White Flag" and "Life for Rent". In 2004, Dido performed with other British and Irish artists in the Band Aid 20 version of the charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?".
LMC are an English dance group consisting of producers Lee Monteverde, Matt Cadman and Cris Nuttall. They have performed remixes for Scooter, Erasure, Dannii Minogue, Lasgo, Flip & Fill, Robert Palmer and Shania Twain. LMC is best known for the track "Take Me to the Clouds Above" which features an interpolation of Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know" and a sample of U2's "With or Without You" which topped the UK Singles Chart in early 2004, as well as going top 5 in Ireland and top 10 in Australia.
Utah Saints are an English electronic music duo consisting of members Jez Willis and Tim Garbutt. The band had three top-ten and another five top-40 singles on the UK Singles Chart in the 1990s, as well as number-one dance tracks in the UK and US. They were notable for pioneering use of sampling technology, in particular, their practice of manipulating samples from mainstream pop, rock, R&B and soul songs and combining them with contrasting dance beats, using the samples in a new context. The band wrote, produced and mixed all of their own music. The duo were joined on stage by additional musicians when they played live from 1991 to 2001. They were one of the first electronic groups to play as a live collective and supported both the Shamen and U2 live at 10 stadium shows. Since then the duo have performed live sets themselves.

Uniting Nations are a British dance music act formed in Liverpool in 2004. They achieved chart success across Europe. The act was originally made up of Paul Keenan and Daz Sampson as band members, songwriters and producers. After their 2005 hit "Out of Touch", which was the debut and most successful single of the band, Craig Powell joined in as frontman of the band. A number of songs on the Uniting Nations' debut and only album One World, released in 2005 on Gut Records, were also performed by vocalist and session artist Jinian Wilde.
Sunscreem are a techno/house music band from Essex, England that scored a number of hits on the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart throughout the 1990s and into the 21st century. Sunscreem also has the rare reputation as a techno-based band that successfully performs concerts. Over a ten-year period, 12 of its singles made an entry to the UK Singles Chart.
"Move in My Direction" is a song written by British musical duo Bananarama, David Clewett, and Ivar Lisinski for Bananarama's ninth studio album, Drama (2005). The song was produced by Mute 8 and received a mixed reception from music critics. It was released as the first single on 25 July 2005 and reached number 14 in the United Kingdom, becoming the duo's first top-40 hit in 12 years.
"Good Life" is a song by American electronic music group Inner City, featuring vocals by Paris Grey, and was released in November 1988 as the second single from their debut album, Paradise (1989). It is written and produced by Kevin Saunderson, and became a hit all over the world, reaching number-one in Finland and number four in the UK. In the US, it peaked at number-one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Its music video is directed by Andrew Doucette and filmed in London. "Good Life", along with "Big Fun", have been considered prototypes for Belgian act Technotronic's 1989 hit "Pump Up The Jam", and is today widely considered a classic of its genre.
"Last Night a D.J. Saved My Life" is a song written by Michael Cleveland, sung by American group Indeep, and released as a single in 1982 by Sound of New York and Becket Records. It features vocals from Réjane "Reggie" Magloire and Rose Marie Ramsey. The track appears as the third track of the namesake album released in 1983.
Ultrabeat are a British electronic dance music group from Liverpool, England, formed in 2002. Originally consisting of vocalist and producer Mike 'Re-Con' Di Scala and producers Ian Redman and Chris Henry, Ultrabeat emerged with their cover of the Force & Styles song "Pretty Green Eyes", which peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart 2003. They released further singles, including top forty hits such as "Feelin' Fine", "Better than Life" and "Elysium ", followed by their début album Ultrabeat: The Album in 2007, which peaked at number eight on the UK Albums Chart

"Look on the Floor" is a song by English girl group Bananarama, released in November 2005 as the second single from their ninth album Drama. The song was written by Sara Dallin, Keren Woodward, H. Korpi, M. Wollo, M. Malavasi and S. Micheli, and was produced by Korpi and BlackCell. Contained in "Look on the Floor" is an interpolation of the chorus of the 1983 Italo disco song "Hypnotic Tango" by My Mine.
"Never Too Much" is the debut song written, composed, produced, and performed by Luther Vandross. The R&B song was released in 1981, as the lead single from Vandross's debut album of the same name. The title track hit number one on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, reached number four on the US Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, and peaked at number 33 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Amanda Leigh Wilson is an English Platinum selling singer/song writer. She is a member of house music act Freemasons. As part of the act she has scored two major UK hit singles, one of which went on to success in several European charts, and the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs. Wilson also scored another major UK and worldwide smash hit working with Avicii and Samuele Sartini on the single "Seek Bromance" in 2010, which went on to be certified Platinum by BPI for selling over 600,000 units in the UK, and certified Gold in numerous countries across Europe.
André Tanneberger, better known by his stage name ATB, is a German DJ and producer of trance music. According to the official world DJ rankings governed by DJ Magazine, ATB was ranked No. 11 in 2009 and 2010, and No. 15 in 2011. In 2011, he was ranked as world No. 1 according to "The DJ List". He is best known for his 1998 single "9 PM ", which was a No. 1 single in the United Kingdom. The song's hook would later be reworked into "Don't Stop!" in 1999 for his debut album, Movin' Melodies, becoming a hit in its own right.
Club Disco is the fifth studio album by Australian singer Dannii Minogue. It was released by All Around the World digitally on 5 November 2007 worldwide. It was also re-released in Australia on 27 May 2008 physically with the single "Touch Me Like That", and a bonus disc of club remixes. The album is heavily inspired by 1980s disco. Six singles were released from the album—"You Won't Forget About Me", "Perfection", "So Under Pressure", "I Can't Sleep at Night", "He's the Greatest Dancer" and "Touch Me Like That"—five of which reached number one on the UK Dance Chart.
"Touch Me (All Night Long)" is a 1984 song by American singer Fonda Rae and American band Wish. It was a minor hit for Rae and the band, and was featured in the 1985 slasher film A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge. In the original, it is alternately spelled as "Tuch Me (All Night Long)" or simply just "Tuch Me".

"Do You Know" is a song by British R&B-soul singer, songwriter, actress and author Michelle Gayle, released in January 1997 by RCA, BMG and 1st Avenue as the first single from the singer's second album, Sensational (1997). The song was co-written by Gayle and received positive reviews from music critics. It peaked at number six on the UK Singles Chart and number two on the UK R&B Singles Chart, making it her second highest charting single. The accompanying music video for "Do You Know" was directed by Randee St. Nicholas.
UK garage, abbreviated as UKG, is a genre of electronic dance music which originated in England in the early to mid-1990s. The genre was most clearly inspired by jungle, but also incorporates elements from dance-pop and R&B. It is defined by percussive, shuffled rhythms with syncopated hi-hats, cymbals, and snares, and may include either 4/4 house kick patterns or more irregular "2-step" rhythms. Garage tracks also commonly feature 'chopped up' and time-stretched or pitch-shifted vocal samples complementing the underlying rhythmic structure at a tempo usually around 130 BPM.
