Zotrix is a twin-stick shooter video game developed by Zero Bit games and released on Windows in 2015 and on PlayStation 4 in 2016. [1] A sequel, Zotrix 2, was announced in 2016, but not released as of 2022. [2] [3]
The game received mixed reviews upon release. Its PlayStation 4 version holds 56/100 on Metacritic based on 8 reviews. [4] 4players.de gave it 76/100 stating "When it comes to dualstick shooters you don't have to ask me twice. Nonetheless Zotrix isn't love at first sight. But if you get used to the quirky arcady feel à la Galaga where positioning is as important as reflexes you might develop an interesting friendship." [5]
Medal of Honor is a series of first-person shooter video games created by American film director and producer Steven Spielberg. The first game was developed by DreamWorks Interactive and published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation in 1999. Medal of Honor spawned a series of follow-up games including multiple expansions spanning various console platforms and personal computers.
Postal is a 1997 isometric top-down shooter video game developed by Running with Scissors and published by Ripcord Games. A sequel to the game, Postal 2, was released in 2003. Two additional sequels, Postal III and Postal 4: No Regerts, were released in 2011 and 2022, respectively. Director Uwe Boll bought the movie rights for the series and produced a film of the same name. A March 2001 re-release of the game, called Postal Plus, included a "Special Delivery" add-on. A remake of the game, Postal Redux, was released for Microsoft Windows on May 20, 2016, and was later released for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch digital stores. At the end of 2016, the game's source code was released under the GNU GPL-2.0-only. At the end of 2019, Running With Scissors released the game as freeware.
Rally Championship is a rally video game. It was released for PlayStation 2 on 31 May 2002 and GameCube on 7 February 2003. It is developed by Warthog Games and published by SCi. It is the last game in the Rally Championship series. The game is a sequel to the 2001 game Rally Championship Xtreme. It is the first game in the series not published by Europress and the first game not released on the PC.
Marvel Super Hero Squad is a video game developed by Blue Tongue Entertainment, Mass Media, and Halfbrick and published by THQ. It was released in October 2009 for the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Wii. The game features cartoonish super-deformed versions of the Marvel Comics superhero characters, as seen in the Marvel Super Hero Squad toy line by Hasbro, as well as the television show made by Film Roman and Marvel Animation for Cartoon Network.
Alien Breed: Evolution is an isometric shooter game in Team17's Alien Breed series and is the first title in the series since 1996. It was released for the Xbox 360 on 16 December 2009. An updated version called Alien Breed: Impact was released for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 3 in the following year. It was followed by Alien Breed 2: Assault released in September 2010.
LittleBigPlanet (LBP) is a puzzle platform video game series created and produced by British developer Media Molecule and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Most games in the series put a strong emphasis on user-generated content and are based on the series' tagline "Play, Create, Share". Zeno Clash 2 is a first-person action role-playing and beat 'em up video game developed by ACE Team as the follow-up to 2009's Zeno Clash. It was published by Atlus for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in 2013. The game is a direct sequel and features the same characters and setting as the first. It continues the story of Ghat, Rimat, and Father-Mother.
Sacred Citadel is a side-scrolling action brawler video game in the Sacred series. It was released in April 2013, and takes place before the 2014 sequel Sacred 3. It was developed by Southend Interactive and published by Deep Silver for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and Microsoft Windows. A DLC called Sacred Citadel: Jungle Hunt was released on the same month.
Shadow Warrior is a first-person shooter game developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver Digital for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Linux and Mac OS X. It is a reboot of the 1997 game of the same name, developed by 3D Realms and published by GT Interactive, licensed out by Devolver Digital, featuring the same character Lo Wang and a modern era setting with Asian mythology elements, all of which were redesigned with modern, full 3D graphics and new gameplay features, while also being a throwback to classic first-person shooters. The game was released on 26 September 2013 through digital distribution via Steam and GOG.com with a later retail release. On 27 April 2015 the game was released for both OS X and Linux. Upon its release, the game was met with mixed reviews. A sequel, Shadow Warrior 2, was released in 2016; and another sequel, Shadow Warrior 3, was released in 2022.
Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below is a hack and slash game developed by Omega Force and published by Square Enix. It was released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan in February 2015, and in North America, Australia and Europe only for PlayStation 4 in October 2015. It was later released for Microsoft Windows in December 2015. The game received generally positive reviews, with a sequel Dragon Quest Heroes II being released in Japan during May 2016. Dragon Quest Heroes would later be released with the sequel in a compilation for Nintendo Switch in Japan.

Cryptark is an action roguelike video game developed and published by Alientrap for Microsoft Windows, OS X, Linux, and PlayStation 4. The game was released on Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 on June 20, 2017. A sequel named Gunhead is currently in development by Alientrap, and set for release in 2023. Unlike its predecessor, Gunhead will be played from a first-person perspective with VR implementation being a post-release possibility.
Splitgate is a free-to-play multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed and published by 1047 Games. It was released in early access on May 24, 2019, for Linux and Microsoft Windows on Steam, and on Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on July 27, 2021. A PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S version came in 2022. On August 25, 2021, the developers announced that the game would stay in beta indefinitely and at the same time released Season Zero. The game revolves around Halo-inspired sci-fi combat in battle arenas where players can create wormhole portals between two points on the map that have been compared to those of the Portal series, and fire weapons or travel through those portals.
Bayonetta is a series of action-adventure games created by Hideki Kamiya, developed by PlatinumGames, and owned by Sega. The franchise was introduced in 2009 with Bayonetta. Two sequels were released, Bayonetta 2 (2014) and Bayonetta 3 (2022), as well as a spinoff, Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon (2023). In the games, players control a witch nicknamed Bayonetta as she wields dual pistols, shooters in her high heels, and long, magically transforming hair which becomes a deadly weapon.
