The India men's national cricket team, also known as Team India or the Men in Blue, represents India in men's International Cricket. It is governed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) status.
Yuvraj Singh is a former Indian international cricketer who played in all formats of the game. He was particularly known for his aggressive and elegant stroke play and match winning all-round performances for India. He is an all-rounder who bats left-handed in the middle order and bowls slow left-arm orthodox. He scored 362 runs and scalped 15 wickets in 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and won man of the series award. He was also one of the top performers in 2007 ICC World T20 both of which India won. Zaheer Khan is an Indian former cricketer who played all forms of the game for the Indian national team from 2000 till 2014. He was the second-most successful Indian pace bowler in Test cricket, behind Kapil Dev. Zaheer Khan started his domestic career by playing for Baroda. In the early years of his career, Zaheer Khan was known for his hostile seam and pace bowling, especially fast inch-perfect. He is often considered one of the best Indian fast bowlers.
The Wankhede Stadium is an international cricket stadium in Mumbai, India. The stadium now has a capacity of 33,108, following renovations for the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Before the upgrade, the capacity was approximately 45,000.
The Brabourne Stadium is a cricket ground in the Indian city of Mumbai, which was the home ground of IPL franchise Mumbai Indians. It can accommodate 50,000 people for sports matches. The ground is owned by the Cricket Club of India (CCI). The North Stand of the Brabourne housed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) headquarters and the 1983 Cricket World Cup trophy until 2006 when both were moved to the newly built Cricket Centre at the nearby Wankhede Stadium.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, is a former international cricketer who captained the Indian national cricket team in limited-overs formats from 2007 to 2017 and in Test cricket from 2008 to 2014. He is currently the captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), a franchise based team of Indian Premier League. Having won the triple ICC limited-overs tournament as captain and brought the Indian cricket team to number one position in ICC test rankings in 2009, Dhoni is often considered as the greatest captain of Indian cricket team. The Barabati Stadium is an Indian sports stadium used mostly for cricket and association football, and also sometimes for concerts and field hockey, located in Cuttack, Odisha. It is a regular venue for international cricket and is the home ground of Odisha cricket team. The stadium is owned and operated by the Odisha Cricket Association. It is also used for Association Football. It hosts Santosh Trophy national football tournament and the state's Odisha First Division League football matches. The Barabati Stadium is one of the older grounds in India, having hosted several touring sides – including the MCC, the West Indies team and the Australians – before it hosted its first international match. Shikhar Dhawan is an Indian international cricketer and a former limited-overs captain. Being a Left-handed opening batsman and an occasional right-arm off break bowler, he plays for Delhi in first-class cricket and Delhi Capitals in the IPL. At the 2013 Champions Trophy, 2015 World Cup, and 2017 Champions Trophy, Dhawan was the leading run-scorer for India. He also became the first player in the history of IPL to score two back-to-back centuries.
