Athletic Federation of Lithuania (Lithuanian : Lietuvos lengvosios atletikos federacija) is the national sporting organisation recognised by the Lithuanian sports commission for athletics activity in Lithuania. Founded at 1921. [1] Federation president is former 100 m and 200 m national champion Eimantas Skrabulis. [2] Federation organizing Lithuanian Athletics Championships and approving national records.

Kęstutis Šapka Lithuanian high jumper

Kęstutis Šapka is a retired Lithuanian high jumper who represented the Soviet Union. He was inspired to become a professional high jumper after the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico and became one of the early adopters of Fosbury Flop. He retired due to recurring injuries. After retiring from competitions he worked as a trainer in Vilnius. In 2007, he was ranked as top 16 trainer in track and field athletics.

Lithuania competed at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam, Netherlands. After the disappointing debut in the 1924 Summer Olympics, Lithuania was better prepared for the games in Amsterdam. In 1926 it organized the first national Olympics. Lithuania sent 12 athletes to compete in 4 sports: athletics, boxing, cycling, and weightlifting. The best result was achieved by boxer Juozas Vinča, who shared 5th–8th places. Lithuania did not appear in the Olympics again until after the restoration of independence in 1992.

Ana Ambrazienė is a retired hurdler from Lithuania. Also known as Anna Kostecka, she was born in Vilnius and is of Polish descent. She represented the Soviet Union in the 1970s and 1980s.

Ramūnas Vyšniauskas is a retired weightlifter from Lithuania. He competed in the 105 kg class.

Lithuanian Athletics Championships is the national championship in athletics, organized by the Athletic Federation of Lithuania. Recent competitions were held in S. Darius and S. Girėnas Stadium in Kaunas since 2000. The first competition was held in 1921. Women participated since the 1922 championship.

Andrius Gudžius is a Lithuanian discus thrower. Gudzius won the gold at the 2017 World Championships.

LLAF Cup is an annual track and field event in Lithuania organized by the Athletics Federation of Lithuania. All Lithuanian athletics clubs are competing in the championship. Team that won most titles is Cosma from capital city of Vilnius. The LLAF Cup is also national championship for decathlon and heptathlon.

The 2011 Lithuanian Indoor Athletics Championships were held in Klaipėdos lengvosios atletikos maniežas, Klaipėda on 18–19 February 2011.

The Lithuanian Indoor Athletics Championships is an annual indoor track and field competition organised by the Athletic Federation of Lithuania, which serves as the national championship for the sport in Lithuania. Recent competitions were held in Klaipėda. The first championships was held in 1948, but as the country was subsumed into the Soviet Union after World War II, the Soviet Athletics Championships served as the national event during this period. After the Act of the Re-Establishment of the State of Lithuania, a national Lithuanian championships was restored and held in 1990.

Lithuania at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics Sporting event delegation

Lithuania competed at the 2011 World Championships in Athletics from August 27 to September 4 in Daegu, South Korea. A team of 15 athletes was announced to represent the country in the event. The team will be led by Olympic gold medalist, discus thrower Virgilijus Alekna.

Žygimantas Stanulis is a Lithuanian weightlifter who won a silver medal at the 2013 European Weightlifting Championships in Tirana.

Marius Leonavičius Lithuanian basketball coach

Marius Leonavičius is a Lithuanian basketball coach. He is currently head coach for the CBET Prienai of the Lithuanian Basketball League and the youth coach in Prienai basketball school.

The 2017 Lithuanian Football Cup, also known as LFF Cup, was the seventy-second season of the Lithuanian annual football knock-out tournament. Forty-four teams entered the competitions, which started on 27 April and ended on 24 September in Aukštaitija Stadium, Panevėžys.

SV Atlétiko Tera Corá Football club

Sport Vereniging Atlétiko Tera Corá, or ATC is a Bonaire association football club based in Kralendijk. The club competes in the BFF Kampionato, the top tier of football in Bonaire.

The 2020 Lithuanian Weightlifting Championships were held in Telšiai on 15–16 of August 2020. It was the first championships after disqualification of national head coach and majority of the national team due doping rules violations.

The 2021 Lithuanian Athletics Championships was the 98th edition of the national championship in outdoor track and field for athletes in Lithuania. It was held between 25 and 26 June at the Palangos centrinis stadionas in Palanga.
