Bandy World Cup Women is an annual bandy competition for the best women's club teams from around the world hosted in Sweden. It was named to correspond to the Bandy World Cup for men's club teams.
In 2015, Canada sent a Winnipeg-based girls high school ice hockey team which had learned to play bandy to the tournament. [1]

Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two teams wearing ice skates on a large ice surface while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal.
Västerås SK Bandy is the men's bandy side of the Swedish sports club Västerås SK, located in Västerås. The senior side currently plays in the Swedish Elitserien, the top division of Swedish bandy.
Per "Pelle" Fosshaug is a Swedish bandy manager and former bandy player. Fosshaug played in midfield for many clubs in Sweden, as well as for the Sweden national bandy team, for which he made a record 129 appearances between 1994 and 2005.
IK Sirius is a Swedish bandy club located in Uppsala, currently playing in Elitserien. IK Sirius were formed in 1907 and play their home games at Studenternas Idrottsplats.
Jarno Väkiparta is a Finnish bandy player who currently plays for Tillberga IK Bandy from Sweden. Jarno is a forward who has represented the Finnish national team. Jarno started his career in his homeland at Narukerä before moving to Ljusdals BK of Sweden in 1998. He has also played for IFK Motala, Västerås SK and Katrineholms SK before moving to Tillberga. His best achievement is the World Championship gold in Bandy World Championship 2004.
Hans Elis "Hasse" Johansson is a former bandy player from Sweden and current coach of the Chinese national team.
AIK Bandy is the Bandy section of sports club Allmänna Idrottsklubben, currently located in Solna, which is just north of Stockholm. Former UEFA President and FIFA Vice President Lennart Johansson started as a leader here.
Andreas Bergwall is a Swedish bandy player who currently plays in Västerås SK as a goalkeeper. Bergwall is the younger brother of Marcus Bergwall. Bergwall has played many games for Sweden's national team and has played in several Bandy World Championship tournaments and is regarded as one of, if not the best goalkeeper in the world.
Anders Bruun is a Swedish bandy player who currently plays for Västerås SK as a defender.
Michael Carlsson is a Swedish bandy manager and former player (forward) and who currently manages Västerås SK. Carlsson was a youth product of Västerås SK and was spotted where he has stayed for his career apart from one year when he played in Russia for Vodnik. Carlsson has played for the Swedish national bandy team. In April 2019, he was appointed coach for the Swedish men's national team.
Daniel Kjörling is a Swedish former bandy player who most recently played for Västerås SK as a goalkeeper.
Joachim Persson is a Swedish Bandy player who currently plays for Västerås SK as a defender. Joachim was a youth product of IK Sirius. Joachim made his first team debut for IK Sirius in the 1998/99 season.
Victor Engström was a Swedish bandy player who played for Västerås SK as a midfielder or forward. Engström was a youth product of Västerås SK and made his first team debut in the 2006–07 season. Engström also played for the Sweden U19 team that won the U19 Nordic Under-19 Bandy Championship 2007, where he scored one goal against Finland. On 1 July 2013, Engström died of liver cancer, 24 years old.
Johan Östblom is a Swedish bandy player who plays for the AIK. He primarily plays as a midfielder but can also play as a defender. In 2014, Östblom became the third player to win three Swedish championships with three clubs.

The Women's Bandy World Championships is an international sports tournament for women and the premier international competition for women's bandy between bandy-playing nations. The tournament is administrated by the Federation of International Bandy.
Canada's women's national bandy team is the women's bandy team representing Canada. Historically the squad has been based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The women's national team has competed in the Women's Bandy World Championship and North American Bandy Championship and made its world debut at the 2004 Women's Bandy World Championship. Team Canada has not competed internationally since the 2016 Women's Bandy World Championship.
Svenska Cupen, Svenska Cupen i bandy, is a knockout cup competition in Swedish bandy and the main bandy cup only open for domestic Swedish teams.
Bandy in the United States is played mostly in Minnesota. The national team regularly plays in Division A of the Bandy World Championships. In terms of licensed athletes, it is the second biggest winter sport in the world. Bandy is a team sport played on ice with ice skates, a ball, and a curved stick on a large sheet of ice called a bandy field. In the United States, the national governing body for bandy is the American Bandy Association (ABA), also called USA Bandy which was established in 1981, the same year it became a member of the Federation of International Bandy (FIB). The USA Bandy Hall of Fame is located in Minnesota.
Västerås SK BK Dam is the women's bandy side of the Swedish sports club Västerås SK, located in Västerås. The senior side currently plays in the Swedish Allsvenskan, the top-tier league of Swedish women's bandy, and has done so for a number of years. The club was the runner-up for the Swedish Championship in 2017.
