Senator Stephen Benton Elkins House, also known as Halliehurst, is an historic mansion located at Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia. It was designed by architect Charles T. Mott and built in 1890, as a summer home for U.S. Senator Stephen Benton Elkins. It consists of a three-story main block with hipped roof and service wing. The roof is punctuated by towers, turrets, dormers, and chimneys. A porch surrounds much of the first floor. It features a two-story portico with columns around a central, flat roofed tower. Located on a mountainside, it commands a view of the valley beneath and the forest and mountain peaks that surround the valley. In 1923, the house and approximately 60 acres of land were deeded to Davis & Elkins College by Sen. Elkins' widow.
The Davis and Elkins Historic District is a National Historic Landmark District on the campus of Davis & Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia. It includes two mansions, the Senator Stephen Benton Elkins House (Halliehurst) and Graceland, that are separately listed on the National Register of Historic Places. A gate house and an ice house are also included in the district. These four structures are associated with the families of Henry Gassaway Davis (1823-1916) and Stephen Benton Elkins (1841-1911), who were dominating figures in the politics and economy of West Virginia in the late 19th century. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1998.

It encompasses 85 contributing buildings and two contributing structures covering eleven square blocks. The district includes the commercial, ecclesiastical, and civic core of the town and surrounding residential area. The district includes a number of buildings representative of popular architectural styles from the late-19th century and early-20th century including Romanesque Revival, Colonial Revival, Gothic Revival, and Greek Revival. Notable buildings include the Braxton County Courthouse (1881-1882) and Jail (1905), Sutton Bank Building (1891), Farmers Bank and Trust (1909), Bank of Sutton, Methodist Episcopal Church, South (1896), Kelly / Fisher House. Elk / Midway Hotel (1894), and Katie B. Frame Residence. The two structures are the Bridge over Old Woman Run (1892) and Bridge over Elk (1930).

The district encompasses 119 contributing buildings in 16 blocks of the central business district of Clarksburg. It includes an extraordinary variety of architectural types and styles including Renaissance Revival and Italianate. Notable buildings include the Goff Building (1911), Municipal Building (1888) [demolished], the Waldo Hotel (1901–1904), Robinson Grand, Harrison County Courthouse (1931-1932), U.S. Post Office (1932), Masonic Temple (1911–1914), Merchant's National Bank (1894), First United Presbyterian Church (1894), and First Methodist Church. Located in the district and separately listed are Waldomore and the Stealey-Goff-Vance House. The Nathan Goff, Jr. House was delisted in 1994.
Elkins Milling Company, also known as Darden's Mill, is a historic grist mill located at Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia. It is a three-story timber frame structure, eight bays long and three bays deep. It was built in 1902, and expanded and at various points in the 20th century. The building served Elkins and the surrounding area as a merchant grain mill and feed store.

It encompasses 51 contributing buildings that reflect the history of Beverly from its founding to the end of the 19th century. Notable buildings include the Randolph County Courthouse, old Randolph County Jail (1813–1841), Randolph County Jail (1841), Beverly Public Square (1787), Beverly Cemetery (1768), Beverly Presbyterian Church (1869), Beverly United Methodist Church (1890), Home of "The Enterprise", and the Peter Buckey House and Hotel (1790–1865). Also located in the district is the separately listed Blackman-Bosworth Store.

The district includes houses representative of popular architectural styles between about 1890 and 1955. The district also includes a variety of domestic dependencies, several historic churches, the 7.9-acre City Park, a Works Progress Administration-era public building, and a small number of commercial buildings. Also in the district is a bronze equestrian statue of Henry Gassaway Davis. Located in the district are the previously listed Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church, Randolph County Courthouse and Jail, and the Warfield-Dye Residence.

Youngerman Block is a three-story commercial building in downtown building in Des Moines, Iowa, incorporating Italianate architecture, with later alterations that introduced Art Deco detailing. Built in 1876, the Youngerman Block was designed by architect William Foster (1842-1909) for Conrad Youngerman.

The Capitol–Main Historic District encompasses a well-preserved area of early 19th-century commercial architecture in downtown Little Rock, Arkansas. The district includes 2-1/2 blocks of Capitol Street, extending east from Center Street, one block of Main Street south of Capitol, and one block of 6th Street west of Main. The buildings in this area were mostly built before World War II, and are of a more modest scale than modern sections of the downtown. Notable buildings include the LaFayette Hotel and the Pfeifer Brothers Department Store.

The Wells-Richardson Complex is a historic commercial-industrial area in downtown Burlington, Vermont. Bounded by Main, Pine, College, and St. Paul Streets just west of City Hall Park, the architecture on this one city block represents nearly a century's worth of development. It is dominated by the former plant of the Wells-Richardson Company, a highly successful maker of patent medicines in the late 19th century. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
